So my husband and I are in our first cycle and likely our only cycle we can afford for awhile. We have put about $10,000 in so far with our insurance. I know everyone knows how much this costs.... but we got a call today that my progesterone level is 1.7 and they want it under 1..... research online says under 1.6 is a good number and I’m close to that. My husband and I decided to go through with the transfer tomorrow. We can only afford to freeze 8 of the 14 embryos we have from retrieval. So essentially we would be wasting 5 embryos if we decided not to do the transfer with a 0% chance obviously because we didn’t put any back in. If we transfer, the chance of implantation is lower but still a chance. And as many of y’all know, any chance seems to be better than the no chance we have just having sex.... we’ve came this far. Has anyone else had this happen or know anything about this? I feel like we made the right decision. Some chance versus NO chance this cycle.
