Bachelorette Ideas- Please help!

Hey Ladies, 

I need some suggestions. I'm the MOH of my best friend, and I have to keep her bachelorette local because she has two kids, and isn't willing to go anywhere over night. 

I need some ideas or suggestions for an out of the box bachelorette. Ex- paintball, stripper pole class etc. 

What are some things you girls have done or heard of? I'm getting desperate for ideas! The rest of the bridal party just keeps agreeing with everything I say, but then I get messages personally after it has been decided saying "can we do something different?" 

Giving u a rundown of the bride to be, loves country, booze and dancing. She's a crazy girl and always up for fun!

The pole dancing classes can be soooooo fun. I highly recommend them in general.

I will get back to you with any more ideas -- most of the parties I've been to have just been your usual bar crawling and such. At mine, we went to a chocolate factory where you could cover a bunch of stuff with chocolate on these fun conveyor belts, but that is pretty tame.

Lol! I think that's our plan for the Saturday, but the Friday we have to come up with something as well because one of the bridesmaids cannot go the Sat. So it has to be a two day event

I may not be super helpful. I probably wouldn't enjoy a pole dancing class. I've only done a few bachelorette parties and they were dinner, drinks, getting nails done kind of days.  I didn't even have a bachelorette party.

What about an amusement park? Are you near one? What time of year will this be happening?

ooooooh... then woo!  That sounds fun!  You could also do a water park (if you're into that kind of thing).

I went to a bachelorette party last year that included a private hip-hop dance class. We learned a routine that got to be drunkenly recreated at the wedding (unfortunately, I think there are videos).

Something extremely fun that was recently at my cousin's bachelorette...

The girl planning it created a poster board (like the kind you use for science fair projects) she made categories all over it: first to cry, first to get in a fight, first to call SO, first to post to social media, etc. She pit velcro in each square, and printed a picture of every girl there, putting velcro on the back. Before we went out for the night, the bride, along with the help of all the girls, put everyone in a square. We brought it out with us on the party bus, and rearranged as the night went on. It was really funny to see pictures of the predictions vs. What actually happened throughout the night.

Not exactly solving your problem of what to do- but just a fun idea to add

Have you ever been to a Passion Party? With the right mix of booze, music, and people, those are a BLAST. Plus you can all pitch in to get her a crazy sex toy.

We did appetizers and pre-gamed at my apartment, and then both of my MOHs had gotten together and hired a wine tour bus for the afternoon, and we went to three different wineries. Afterwards, we went back to my apartment for pizza and more drinks, as well as a Passion Party (I learned things about my mother at that that I never needed to know...)

For my bachelorette party we went to a drag show. It was a blast!! The ladies put on an awesome show and everyone loved it.

I've also done the pole dancing class and the casino. Both were great! Just be warned - pole dancing is WAY harder than it looks. We left there sweating and with bruises. Good luck!

I've gone on one of the winery tours for a bachelorette party. I thought it was great, and I'm not even that big of a wine drinker. I also like the idea of a comedy club.

Mine was pretty basic (dinner, bar-hopping), but I thought I would vote for ones that sounded like fun!

Wine tour sounds amazing! We do have pelee wineries around us. I never thought about that! I want to do pole dancing, but one of the girls thinks that would be too awkward. I might go ahead and do it anyways on the Friday though lol!

One of my bridesmaids brought a blow up doll on our bar crawl. That was a huge hit! We bought him underwear and a lifeguard Tshirt so he would be decent. It was a good conversation starter and he helped get most of our drinks for free that night! We all decided that every bachelorette party from now on had to have one.

We did a "wiggin out" b-party. We all wore fun wigs and went dancing out in the town. I wore a hot pink wig with a white dress. It was a lot of fun!

We did a pole dancing class for my BFF's bachelorette - it was awesome!!! If the group seems like a group that would enjoy that, you should definitely consider it. So much fun!!

For my FSIL, we're doing wine tours then dinner and dancing at a local casino. It could easily be split into 2 days like you need.

I have seen a lot of women have painting and pinot parties, where you have a group of ladies get together and BYOB and food. You all choose one painting and paint it on your own and then compare at the end of the class. I know it sounds more low key, so maybe it would be something to do during the day before you have a more wild night?

I kind of love that idea! There is a bar in town that has Monday night painting and drinking. So they line up a bunch of canvas' across a bunch of tables and everyone can paint, listen to music and drink. 

I'm not the most creative, but it sounds like a great time!

Are y'all staying at a hotel, or is everyone going home for the night? I went to another one last summer where they rented a cool house with a pool on Air BnB or something like that. Since a lot of our friends have kids too and it is hard to make everyone's schedules work, it was a come and go affair. Pool party during the day with lunch, then we all went out to dinner and bars, then back to the house for a late night pool party round 2, and people could crash there if they wanted.

I really like that idea. A few of us have kids so something like that would be a lot of fun. I guess it just depends on the temp outside that day. Early June here can be cooler. 

We are planning on renting a hotel the one night downtown so people have the option to crash rather then drinking and driving

I really wanted to have a different "out of the box" bachelorette party, but all that ended up happening was booze, food, a hotel and dancing at a country bar and it was such a blast! The next morning I actually cried because it was over and I wanted to do it all over again.

I did a private party Paint Night with my mom, cousins and aunts - it was SO MUCH FUN!!! We all brought different food options and wine and had a great time!

I am not artistically inclined at all, and my painting still came out pretty decent - much better looking than I was expecting. Since it was a private party, we got to select the painting we wanted to do from their collection of options.


I was skeptical at first how I would enjoy the night, but it ended up being a lot of fun. Once we were done, we went back to one of the aunts houses and kept drinking and just hanging out.

In my town we have country video dances at a club or a hall or something. They are sponsored by the local country radio station and are usually pretty cheap to get in to. And they ALWAYS have booze! You could check with local country stations in your area to see if they do something similar.

I'll second (third/fourth) the winery tour. Did that this summer for a friend and they rented a party bus and it took us from winery to winery. We had dinner at one out in the vineyard. It was AMAZING and I bought so much delicious wine. Then we went to a country bar and danced all night. Amaazing.

For mine, I did a joint bachelor/bachelorette with my H and we rented a cottage by the ocean for the weekend. We did bridal party olympics during the week which got super serious and was so much fun - like beer pong, flip cup, dance offs etc. The girls won, obv.

At mine, we drove go-karts, then went back to the MOH's house for a good old fashioned slumber party with booze and wedding movies.
