So let's get this FTM Check-In started!!

We will do this every other Friday. One will be for just us FTMs, the other will be the FTM/BTDT playdate!!

So lets get this going, it's our check-in, I will form it the way everyone wants. Opinions welcome, does everyone want me to tag them each check-in, or just come in and post when you want? Let me know!!

We will use the questions and worries from the regular check-in to get the playdates going.

So come on in!!!

What are the word limits of posts around here? The tagging was getting to be a problem with post length got shortened on the other place. For the playdates, I do think it probably helps to tag the BTDT moms who like to contribute, but I think amshark was also posting something on SAIF to alert them, too.

I'm think I'm just mostly looking forward to meeting this LO. What color hair? Eyes? Whose nose? Etc. What will she be like and when will she come?!?! As the time approaches, and our to-do list seems longer and longer, I'm going a little nutty with the uncertainty. I'm a big planner and preparer, so not having a clue when she'll show is really hard to deal with!!

I think I'm just looking forward to bonding, so that this nervous feeling goes away. I'm also looking forward to seeing my sexy man of a DH holding our baby and watching him grow into his role as a father. I'm looking forward to giggles and bath time, and buying him or her a pint-sized volleyball to play with p.s. I vote to skip to tagging and just allow for drop ins.

Thank you @ginnyjones for starting this. I was just looking for my poll post to follow up on this, and I'm so pleased to see that you jumped right in.

I vote to skip the tagging, and just let people drop in. It got to be such a chore at the other place - the list was so long, and since I was adding graduates, it only got longer. I don't think it's necessary.
Also, I never tagged the BTDT moms. I just posted a note with a link to the "play date" thread on SAIF (now Parenting After IF), and we always got a decent number of responses.

If you'd like to start collecting questions, I just posted a question on the other version of this thread at the other place.
Question for BTDT moms: For moms who cloth diaper - has anyone had success finding a day care that accepts cloth diapers? Do you have a preference between prefold, pocket and AIO styles, or do you use different types for different purposes?

QOTW: I am most looking forward to finding out just how healthy my babies are. I am most concerned about the boy, who has been very low on fluid for the past 7 weeks. I'm both looking forward to learning about his health, and at the same time, I'm scared about what we might find. And, I'm also worried (probably irrationally) that my girl will have health issues, just because I haven't been as worried about her - if that makes any sense.

I'm looking forward to meeting them (not too soon ). I just want to hold them, snuggle them, love them, and just bond with them. I also can't wait to see DH with them- he's going to be such a great dad.

I'm most looking forward to the holidays with baby. My niece was also born in September, and I had so much fun watching her first holidays. I'm also looking forward to all those firsts.

I'm most looking forward to meeting her and just seeing what she's like. I also sit in my glider a few minutes every night to relax and think about things, so I can't wait to sit there with her in my arms.

I'm definitely just looking forward to snuggling her!! almost 30 weeks and it's becoming SOOOO real!! I've been having more and more dreams of what she will look like too!

QOTW: to be honest, I have a difficult time thinking that far. We've been trying for so long, we've really been focused on a two part plan: 1. Get pregnant 2. Stay pregnant.

But whenever I let myself think that far, I always think of rocking my child.

In general as far as Ftm status goes, I am so totally unprepared.

I don't allow myself to think that far ahead very often since I haven't even gotten to make sure both babies are doing okay still.

When I do allow it, it usually involves sharing them with my family or just holding them and carting them around with DH and me. Mundane stuff :-)
