Hi Ladies!
I wanted to share with you my twin's birth story. I actually did end up hiring a birth photographer and she put together a beautiful slide show. (Link below)
My water barely broke on Jan 24th Saturday Morning and through out the day I was having tiny gushes of fluid coming out. (I didn't thibk it was anything since no contractions or anything) I went to L&D that evening and the fluid tested positive for amniotic fluid and I was admitted. They started me on cervidil that evening since I wasn't really dialated. The next morning at 11 when my OB came I was only dialated at 1 cm and they started me on Pitocin. I also went ahead and got the epi. Around 8 pm it was time for me to push. I was so numb I never got that urge to get the babies out. After getting coached by my husband, mom, and nurses for 3 hours I mde the hard decision to hve a c section. Baby A was right there too. Everyone saw her head, but I couldn't get her to crown. They thought since I was struggling with A I would not be able to get B out and need a Emergency C section for B. I felt a lot of sadness about going to c section, but all that matters is my girls are here and healthy.
Claire Elizabeth was born at 12:15 am 5 pounds 14 oz and Isla Irene was born at 12:17 am 6 pounds 6 oz. Both were a little over 19 inches long.
It is hard to believe they are almost 4 weeks old already! My husband and I are so in love with them.
Here is a link to my birth story slide show. (No worries nothing graphic). I will take it down sometime next week, but I wanted to share it with you guys.

I hope everyone is doing well!
