Mayweather vs Pacman set!

The long awaited and constantly delayed fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao is finally a go!  Are you planning on watching? 

I generally think the price of pay per view to watch boxing is too expensive, but I usually find a way to watch for free!  This is one fight that I'll actually pay for, but I'll likely try to get in with a sports bar the day of the fight.

We might watch it. Before we got together my wife and I would watch boxing PPV with our respective friends. I'd like to watch this but the cost and late time might be reasons we don't. It's rare either of us are awake after 9:30 or 10. But by May our littlest one might sleep well enough. The biggest of the little ones is always up by 5:30 or 6 though. Who am I kidding, we'll probably get it.

It's set, but honestly I'm not holding my breath. I won't be surprised if it falls through. If it does fall through, they should be required to distribute that $125+ million they project it will generate to the disappointed viewers.

I recall one of the greatest "fights" I've ever seen...leading up to Tyson-McNeely was a great night. A buddy who was always late, but did pay his part for the entire package that night, arrived literally as The ref counting him out. Guy, Didnt see any of the undercard and none of the fight. Our host (and controller of funds) refused to give him his money back. Just because he didn't watch the other fights or get there on time for the main event...that didn't qualify for a refund. Lol...I should take back "a buddy of mine" he was more of an acquaintance with a record of "going in" on things as a group then never paying. So I think the with holding of money was to offset all of the other times he didn't pay. That exchange was way better than the two or three punch exchange that ended the fight!

Classic Sports was airing the 1st Cassius Clay vs Sonny Liston fight yesterday and I watched as I was rocking DS to sleep. It was funny to see a young Ali and how the announcers were saying how it was the biggest upset in the history of Boxing that Cassius Clay won the fight due to stoppage. Of course I'm watching the fight knowing that he went on to become a legend, but they had no idea back then!
