Since we don't have a lot of posts yet and I can't post on TB anymore, why not add to the board? DH NEVER thinks of any names but brought up Nora today. Thoughts? Nora or Norah?
It does start with the first 3 letters of our son's name, but the sound is different so I don't think it is that big of a deal but let me know if I'm wrong.
Of the two, I prefer Nora. I don't know what your son's name is, but I would side-eye the following sibsets: Nora and Norman Nora and Norbert Nora and Norton Nora and Norris Nora and Norwood
I don't know, Nor is a pretty distinctive initial collection of phonemes.

I love Nora.
I don't love Nora and Connor together and I really dislike Eleanor and Connor together. But I'm hyper sensitive to endings. We ruled out Eleanor for the next kiddo because our son's name ends in -er and I find them too sing-songy.

My daughter is Norah with the H, so I of course, like that better, but I think it's more popular without the H so she'll probably be correcting people all her life with the spelling. I just think it looks much prettier with the H.
I've never been a fan of Nora but especially now because it seems to be increasing in popularity. But the name is fine, just NMS. And I think it works with Connor.
