Studying for the math portion of a teaching exam I have in the morning. Catching up on some shows with DH. Using a glass of wine as my motivation to study quickly

I miss wine sooooo much. FFFC I had half a glass on V Day and it was amazing. It was also a mistake because now I miss it even more!! I'm drinking water, boo. Catching up on The Arrow.

Prairie vodka and ginger ale. I don't know why, it's what I have on hand and I'm only allowed clear liquor anymore so why not. I'm hiding out for my 15 minutes of freedom while H reads books for bedtime. Then I'll probably pass out. H has been on the couch all week so we can reset my sleeping with my new drugs. It's been glorious. I read trashy books and take up the whole bed. Can't wait!

I'm so impressed with all the moms that have jobs and little ones and are finishing school. I don't know how you do it!
xanthepants is the clear liquor because of the migraines? I have a friend that gets them so bad that she has to take sleeping pills to sleep for 3 days straight to get rid of them.
Drinking water... Whoop, whoop! I'm sitting in the "front" living room (aka formal) because FIL is watching TV on is level, and MiL is in the basement. It's actually nice to sit and relax alone. hH just got back from the mall.
Seriously I think FIL is deaf, I could hear every single thing he was watching. I practically watched the show with him without even being in the same room.
J was in a beauty of a mood tonight. I almost literally sold her to the gypsies tonight!!!!
I have skittles sitting here, but I haven't cracked them open yet... I have weird acid/heartburn... It makes food much less appealing.

Now it's bath time. Looks like tonight will be an early to bed for us because my H is already asleep on the couch. He's been having trouble falling asleep at normal times and is backed up on sleep. I told him not to fall asleep at 630 on the couch because it will screw with his sleep still. Of course he didn't listen and is snoozing away. Maybe I'll watch undercover boss and shark tank later.
Just got home from a 5 year old's birthday party.... which turned into an adult pizza & wine party. Now sitting on my couch watching snl & having tea. Exciting times! ;-)
I'm here! DH is out of town, Emma is visiting her grandparents for the weekend, and I'm iced in. So, I'm drinking wine, eating a cupcake, watching Parenthood and looking at gender neutral nurseries on Pinterest. I plan to watch all the girly TV and sleep as late as possible! Ahhhhh

Since I have some time to kill, let me tell y'all about my night.
So around 1 I am just about to go to bed (of course) when A starts screaming in his bed. I'm guessing he's had a bad dream, so I run to get him and take him downstairs, trying to keep him from waking up T. A is hot and crying and shivering and saying "I don't like it!" T is crying in his crib by now, so H helps out by getting T out of the crib, bringing him downstairs to me, going back to our room and slamming the door. Well, exccuuuuuse us. Asshat.
Sit A on the couch with an episode of Bubble Guppies while I take care of T, give him a bottle and change his diaper. T is thrilled we're all up so I let him play with some toys since A wants to sit in my lap. When bubble guppies is over, take T back upstairs and THANK GOD he goes right back down with no crying.
A wants to see more bubble guppies so I start another episode and we cuddle on the couch. We're laying down when he sits up suddenly and turns like he's going to say something to me and pukes EVERYWHERE. All over me, all over him, all over the couch. IN MY MOUTH. IN MY EAR.
So lots of cleaning, a shower for both of us, and a load of laundry later, here I am. He's sleeping now and I'm just waiting for the laundry to finish so I can throw it in the dryer before I go to sleep. I really really hope it was just a one-time thing and not a bug or anything.
Also, I've scrubbed everything multiple times and I can still smell puke. It's awesome.
@amieefarrahfowler that sucks!! Poor A and poor you! Kittles throwing up is the worst. If freaks Dagny out so much. Hope he feels better today!
I have a friend in town from FL so a few of us are meeting her for lunch (she picked a great snowy weekend to come home...). Then we have a Gymboree birthday party this afternoon & are going out for pizza after. Chill day tomorrow with dinner at my dads. Actually the busiest weekend we've had for a while
Omg aimeefarrahfowler! I hope A Is feeling better and there are no more repeat performances! I hope your H got up and helped you clean-'if not I'm pretty sure I would have thrown my pukey shirt in his face- not cool!

Oh @aimeefatrahfowler that sounds horrible! My tyler did that when he had a fluoride treatment from the dentist. Just puke everywhere! So gross!! You need all the wine. Or the vodka.

aimeefarrahfowler, puke in my ear is probably my worst nightmare. Ugh you poor thing. Yes you poor thing, not LO poor thing. Sorry!
somethingcleverer, yup neuro took away all alcohol but said I could have vodka or other clear liquor once in a while. I take that to mean martinis galore!
aimeefarrahfowler, that really sucks. I've been puked on, all over, but never in the face and ear... That's extra gross!
I hope you give your H an earful (see what I did there) about bringing T downstairs and slamming the door to go back to bed and leaving you to deal with stuff (even though T went back down before the puke happened. Thankfully)

Thanks laides... he didn't wake up again and he seems fine this morning. Gonna do bland food for a little and make sure he keeps it all down okay.
H slept through everything and then got up before all of us to go fishing so I haven't had a chance to yell at him yet.
mightybee couch is okay, thanks for asking. It leather so everything just wipes off. Smell has improved.
A was so sweet after it happened. I took off all his clothes and wrapped him up in a blanket and told him to sit on the floor while I was cleaning and he kept saying "I'm sorry umma. I clean it" and then he made a weird cough and I said "is more yuck coming up? It goes in this bucket or the potty, okay?" And he says back so sadly "not on the couch"
