OK so I kind of feel like bragging, I am in a cheesy today is a gift kind of a mood. I was planning on a snow storm (as forecasted), instead it is 40s and sunny, and it is the best surprise, I hate gloomy snowy days. I am going on a date with H in a minute, and a new acoustic guitar is arriving today, and I am super excited.
I taught myself some on an electric. I can play a few easy songs, and riffs, but I am going to start lessons on Tues. I have always wanted to learn how to play the guitar, and my mom gave me an electric, and my H bought me this nice acoustic. My mom's guitar is probably 16 or so years old, and has been sitting not played the entire time. She was going to learn but never did. Anyhow it is a great day. Add your brag so I don't feel so AWish
I don't have any brags. It was DH's birthday yesterday and I made surprise reservations for this hot restaurant for tonight. But he's been sick with a cold in bed, probably hot it from DS who is coughing up a storm.
I'm feeling healthy and grumpy that I don't get a fancy dinner tonight.

We had a party yesterday, on our girl's birthday. I picked all the recipes and made her cake from scratch(with canned frosting). All of the food was a hit.
The cake was a 3 layer devils food cake with cream cheese frosting between the layers and as decoration and chocolate frosting for the outside.
The food was a cornbread topped vegetable tamale pie, muffin tin tacos and southwest egg rolls.
My DS got sick and puked all down the front of my shirt on Saturday. It was his first time puking real puke and I just sat there and let him and even tried to catch the rest of it once I knew what was going on.
This is quite an accomplishment because I am currently pregnant and I can't stand the smell of poop, cat food, etc. I held it together and kept my puky shirt on for another 15 mins while I waited for DH to get home and relieve me so I could change.
As of yesterday DH officially has an internship lined up for right after graduation (May). We are now working with them to find a house to rent. This will be the first place of our "own" in almost 5 years of marriage!
Also, after two days of surviving on Gatorade & applesauce I ate real food yesterday! So nice to be feeling better.
