We are going away on our first family vacation at the beginning of April and I want to buy an umbrella stroller to take with us. For those that have one already, what is your favorite?
]My criteria for an umbrella stroller was that it had to be light enough for me to carry up and down the stairs while holding the baby, I have to be able to fold/unfold with 1 hand while holding the baby in the other, and it had to be tall enough for DH to push (he's 6'3"). This one fit all that. It also has larger wheels (for an umbrella stroller), which is suppose to be better on sidewalks (but it still gets stuck in cracks and curbs). I like that the basket can hold one big upright reusable grocery bag, so I don't have to carry the groceries up the hill.
ETA I've been using it as my primary stroller for DD1 for almost a year and its holding up great.

I also tried the Uppababy Gluxe and Glite in the store. They're pricey and the folding mechanism is terrible. You need to hold both handles, pull up on the levers with your thumbs while pushing down with your feet. What the he'll are you suppose to do with the baby while all your limbs are busy folding the stroller, just let them crawl into the street???

Glad you posted because that is one I was considering.
I keep on hearing the First Years Ignite is a great umbrella stroller. From everything I've read and heard, it's what I plan to buy for the summer and traveling.

We have the First Years Ignite - Love it! The only downside to the Ignite is that it's a little heavier than I would have liked.
We bought a Chicco Capri for my Mom and she likes it. I find walking with the Ignite way easier than the Capri. For whatever reason my feet hit the Capri a lot.
We just bought a Chicco Echo. It met all the criteria we require and we liked the pixel color . We haven't used it yet thanks to the poor weather, but I think we will really like it.
