What's on the agenda for Saturday night?

Anyone with plans for doing something fun and adventurous? 

We have a hot date to clean the house top to bottom. LOL. We have our home visit tomorrow (sooo excited) and should probably have started cleaning first thing this morning. But we justified it by saying to each other we didn't want it to become dirty again between now and then.

Wish me luck both for tomorrow's visit and tonight's cleaning marathon.

About to watch a movie with DH. Finally got the kids in bed! We have a busy day tomorrow, so hopefully this down time will be rejuvenating.

I was out late for a girls night yesterday and paid for it today. Planning to be in bed by 9:30

I have an exciting night of taking care of MH. He jacked up his knee playing basketball; MRI is scheduled for Wednesday. I'm hoping that I can stay up late enough to watch SNL tonight.

I am working on the laptop. The girls started their gymnastics classes today. We're all on the couch.

roxy, we got rid of our cable before Christmas , and I think SNL is my one of my most missed shows! We did download the 40th anniversary episode and started watching it last night! Totally hilarious!

We finished the flooring in LO's room today! Yay! Then we participated in a 10 km walk to raise money for a local organization that helps homeless and needy in our community. The weather was thankfully not as cold as it was earlier this week, but the slushy snow did a number on my hips! We are now relaxing, soaking my feet and watching a movie.

We spent the day in Denver. DH joined me on a work trip so we were together for my birthday and then we stayed the weekend. We went hiking, went on an awesome mansion tour and visited two tap rooms.

I worked overnight last night so slept all day today. did some laundry today, although we still need to seriously clean before our last home visit Monday. Work tomorrow morning, I hate switching from day to night shift.

I also worked last night, came home at 10 am and slept until 4...DH is working and im home taking care of one of my Au Pairs who became ill and the host family kicked her out... my plans? sleep! I dont know why but I have been just so tired and sleepy. tomorrow I will do tanning with red lights and maybe that will help...

We watched American Sniper last night - so good! I love Bradley Cooper; he's fantastic.

And then we woke up to a nice big leak in our kitchen ceiling. I'm so ready for this winter to be over.

Thanks. My husband immediately went up onto the roof and found the ice damn that was causing it and broke it up. The leak has stopped, at least for now.  I was in the bathroom upstairs and I could hear the water dripping down inside the wall. That cannot be good. I contacted our insurance agent just to see what they recommend we do, since there's not really much you can do to repair any damage until winter is over.

Last night we went to see American Sniper. It was very good. We came home and downloaded The Theory of Everything, which was just "meh." I like to try to see all the Oscar nominees before the show, so maybe we'll squeeze in some more today.

I have a very busy week planned. My 33rd birthday is tomorrow, and I'm burning some vaca time to allow for some shallow indulgences. After I get my cracked windshield fixed, I'm getting me some botox tomorrow. The rest of the week is a myriad of pap smears, a new tattoo, a SW meeting, and of course buckets of red wine. Cheers to poor choices while "waiting!"

DH and I had a double date with my friend and her H to see Phantom of the Opera and then we went out for dinner yesterday. Even though we got a few inches of snow, it didn't stop us from having a good time!

I went to a mom's night out at a BYOB pizza place with my SAHM group. It was great!

I just have to say... I have the best husband in the world. Last December, at an office Christmas party, I complemented a good friend on her bracelet. I oo'd and aahh'd over it and even tried it on. Tonight my husband presented me with my birthday present: a bracelet by the same designer with just a few tweeks that he thought would make it suit me better. It's exactly what I would have bought for myself. Absolutely perfect. It's not the bracelet itself that touches me, although I do love it, but that he makes a point to pay attention to things I like so he can make me happy on my birthday. Sometimes I just marvel at how lucky I am to have him. I can't wait to see that love showered upon our children one day. In the wise words of Salt n Pepa, "I gotta good man!"

grannypantiesrock - it was so good! The woman who did Christine was AMAZING. So, so good! It was the first time DH saw it and he jumped when the chandelier fell and I laughed SO hard! I still have the songs stuck in my head!

Phantom is one of my favorites!!  I have watched it 3 times and last year made 4 when I took my son son along and he loved it.  I am dying to see Wicked as well just haven't found the time when DH can come along:).

LOVEDDDDD Wicked!  That's another one where the songs get stuck in my head for DAYS.  I've seen Wicked TWICE and it was amazing both times!

I wish Broadway had a yearly ticket where you can just see shows all year and pay one fee:). Gosh maybe they do and its an ungodly amount
I understand about songs getting in your head afterwards, I am still listening to songs from the soundtrack of Newsies after my son saw the play
