I didn't get to do the weekly pregnant/ttc update this week. It was really hectic and so hard to do from mobile.
So I'm full term. Oh my god full term!!!! I feel good although it's getting uncomfortable but I'll take it. Baby boy is still breech. We had a version on Friday. It didn't work so I have a c section scheduled for when I hit 39 weeks.
I'm struggling with that. I just wanted a normal birth. "Normal." I wanted to push a full term baby and hold him right away. I didn't want my kid to be a statistic again. 3-4% are breech. Who would've known I had a greater chance of a preemie than a breech baby. Go figure. They are both dramatic.
Anyway I'm still slightly hopeful for a flip but realistically it's unlokely. He's comfy where he is. I'm focusing on the fact that barring U foreseeing circumstances he's coming home wirh us. And that's what really matters.
So less than two weeks to go most likely. I'm appreciating every day :-)
Congrats on full term! I hope he still manages to flip but if not, keep looking at the positive. I know the feeling of wanting a "normal" pg/delivery but in the end it won't matter because you'll have your sweet LO.

It seems so petty after ds1 but I just wanted something to be normal. Maybe he will still flip but oh well. He is coming home. This is what I was dreaming of even if the delivery isn't what I planned.
Full term?! Hooray!!! I totally understand how you feel, but going home with your baby boy is going to be so, so wonderful! It's ok to be disappointed. Try to focus on the positive! Baby boy is measuring big, right? Pushing him out would probably require some heavy duty recovery, too. Plus, there's no guarantee that even if he was head-down that you'd have a "normal" delivery. Women run into complications and need c/s all the time. It will be ok! Seriously, nothing is going to beat the joy you feel when being discharged at the same time and not having any NICU time!
I am hoping that by some miracle he flips, but if not, as long as he's healthy, that's what most important. Good luck, Mama! I'm wishing you a smooth delivery and easy recovery. Keep us posted!

Full term, helllllllz yeah!! And hugs. My second kiddo was a RCS because I didn't qualify for vbac, and I was disappointed at first, but once she arrived, I didn't care. It was perfect

Hey there. Still baking!!! We have a c section scheduled for Friday (39 weeks!!!!!) because he's breech. I'm bummed about the c but insanely happy we've done so well!
Tomorrow we are expecting a huge snow storm and a full moon. So we will see if we make it past that haha
Thanks for thinking of me. Things have been hectic. I Hope someone can take over the weekly post for me for a little while.
