I'm having this same problem! It started around 10 weeks too. I posted my own thread a few hours ago. One thing that usually helps is swaddling him and white noise (particularly this video on YouTube of a vacuum hahah). Anyway, it's so strange because he just freaks out when I offer him the boob every single time unless I'm sneaky about it. Side lying is also a little bit less fussy.
Babies that young go through weird growth spurts and developmental phases all the time. I would just keep offering. As long as he's producing good diapers and his disposition is still good, I wouldn't worry too much. This phase will eventually pass and he'll go back to nursing "normally" until the next phase. GL!
Is he getting bottles? Are you using the slowest flow nipple? My thought would be if he's getting bottles that he's getting lazy...its a lot more work at the boob! Either way GL....and press on!!
Could be developmental something or wonder week if you believe in those. Lo might also be getting more efficient and not need to eat as much. I'd follow LOs lead as long as diapers and gain look good.
