Stringy: we've done unmedicated it looked like this... CD3 - bloodwork and ultrasound (looking for antral follicles or any cysts since I have a history) CD 10 bloodwork and ultrasound (follicle check up, monitoring estrogen) CD 12 to ? bloodwork and ultrasound (follicle size, monitoring estrogen, checking for LH surge)
ETA, I don't know why that face is showing up when all I typed was a question mark.
Haha that happened to me once with the question marks.
Thanks for the run down. They finally called back and said my SHG would kinda be the same as your day 10 (it'll be day 9). Then I'd come in on 11 and go from there. Thanks!

Stringy It's kind of funny because that face is pretty appropriate, it's pretty much "CD 12 to whenever?" And that's totally a whatever/whenever/I have no idea face.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that this is your cycle!

NariaDreaming, wordsy, theophania, Can I suggest we start seporating the check-ins? Just reading through this board there are so many wonderful TTC conversations, and so many wonderful pregnancy conversations, I think it is a great problem that this board is getting popular enough that I'm getting lost in the conversations I think it would be great to seporate and encourage both groups to chat it up

...just a thought
You guys do what you want!
Hey kevinandjesse, while we technically have an official moderator for violations of terms of use and abuse and stuff like that, we as a group get to decide how we want to do our check-ins and everything else.
We've always said that we'd separate check-ins when people felt like we were ready. It sounds like at least one person thinks we're ready! Shall we set up a poll to see how people feel about it or just make a decision?
****loss and living child discussed***** We're queer. I'm 34, have severe stage 4 endo, and both fallopian tubes are gone. My love ("Manada" 33) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tav.in and Ca.sey at 21 weeks gestation.

Opps! Sorry about that! I have learned the error of my ways! I think a poll is a great idea! That way we know if other people think the same as me, or if I'm a loan fish! Lol

We just had our first insemination last night! Now I'm just waiting to O and keeping my fingers crossed, since our timing is not going to be great this month. The intended dads are OOT right when I should be O-ing, but at least it's just first cycle trying.
A little background, because I'm new here -- I identify as queer and am currently TTC as a surrogate for a gay couple. We decided on the tradition surrogacy route, so, for now, I'm tracking my cycles and we're doing at home insemination. I have a three-year-old (who is almost four, gulp) and my current partner and I share custody of her with my ex.

Welcome!!! We're glad to have you here.
If you're up for it, it would be nice to have you start a new thread to introduce yourself, since not everyone on the board is still reading this thread by now.

PiradicalMaid, Welcome!!! I'm so glad you are here! My husband and I are in the same situation just on the other side of your surrogacy (we are a gay couple blessed with a traditional surrogate with a successful home insemination back in October). There is another board here - Third Party Reproduction - that isn't too active, but I think we can liven it up a bit Looking forward to seeing your updates and sharing our journies What an exciting... and nervous... time, right!!!

Oh, I'm glad to hear it was successful for you I can't promise to be too active of a poster, but I'll check out thy board too. Thanks for the head's up.
I wasn't sure what intro etiquette was here, ha ha. Happy to start my own thread and thanks for the advice
