XP from my post on TTGP regarding silence posts

Should we start posting "Solidarity for banned Bumpies" or something like that, instead of "silence"? I am thinking it will give less fuel to idiot newbs who want to enlighten us to the fact we're in fact, not being "silent". ::eyeroll::

Traffic is nowhere near what it used to be, even with these posts.  Believe me, they are hurting.

I agree with this. If 3000 users who were once very active, all of a sudden quit logging onto the site, that would be a big change for their numbers. 

Right now, as it stands, we have some people completely ignoring the site, some people posting and bumping silence or solidarity threads and some people continuing to feed the trolls. 

I think it would make more of an impact if we decided to stick together on something. Whatever that may be.

I do think that if we keep bumping threads, eventually people will stop posting on TTGP. They are already throwing temper tantrums, stomping their feet and saying "it's not FAIR."

I was mainly a lurker so I didn't have quite the investment in the community that some of you did. I think it would be better if people just quit logging on entirely, but I can understand why it would be hard for some to just let things go on tb.

I have posted a few silence threads in support of the cause but I also would be happy never going back there. If they want a horribly I'll advised forum, let them have it and be done. It will never be the same there and they will have to live with that.

We should continue to let their advertisers know what a fucked up shit show they are investing in though. Just my 2 cents.

This is my thought as well. While we're giving them hits, we're also driving people away. If we do that long enough, it'll be a ghost town around there and we can stop.

considering how annoyed the n00bs have been about our silence threads, I think we should keep posting them for at least a few more days. For every annoyed "it's not silence" post, imagine how many people just nopetopussed there way out of there without saying anything.

I think posting "solidarity" is a good idea. Bumping the posts is ruining the board, making it hard for the idiots to "get back to normal" and such. Their (TB) traffic has to be way down and the longer we mess with the ability for a new "community" to establish itself, the more they'll be hurting long run.

In regards to actual topic of the post. What if everyone just stuck to only posting SOLIDARITY once a day. It would ensure a continously stream of protest posts but show that it's more than just a handfull of people who are pissed off.

I think it's a good idea. I think commenting a few times is fine but just remember that they are not really invested and they will lose interest if we just keep bumping threads. Arguing with the glitter shits over and over is pretty futile! There are still way more of us than rhem!

I've been MIA most of the day because we have company.. So the short version is that we are now posting "solidarity" once a day and not bumping others threads, correct?
