HA 1. Grade 10. No one told me that a spiral perm was a bad idea. 2. Because of what I see downtown, and the weather we've had lately, I would probably open more out of the cold programs immediately. Every time we have these extreme cold warnings (again today), I am just so grateful for my coat, my house, hot water in the pipes. 3. Depends on the mood. Usually green. Bright, grass green.
1. In 6th grade I got a "bob" - which was really a borderline mushroom cut and NOT good on my head. The boys called me "Ramona" for awhile because I looked just like the illustrations of Ramona Quimby in the kids chapter books. The nickname stuck for a few years.
2. Public Transit! And Schools -- If I could I'd invest way more money into public transit in Toronto. The subway system here is terrible, and in desperate need of expansion to key areas. The schools are also lacking, and I am afraid of having to send any future kids to public school around here.
We're a queer family with some bad fertility issues. I'm 32, have dimished ovarian reserve, and my partner-love ("healz413") has severe endo. We did Partner IVF (her eggs, my uterus) for our first babies. Our beautiful twin daughters, Tavin & Casey, were born in June '14 too premature at 21 weeks to survive - We miss them.
Our double-rainbow baby "E" - otherwise known as "Rocky 3" was born in August of 2015. She's wonderfu.
1. Describe the worst haircut you've ever had. Same as megd893- spiral perm gone horribly wrong, 6th grade! Does that perm really work for anyone?
2. If you were the mayor of your city or town and money wasn't an issue what is the first thing you would do or change? Similar to manada- public transit. The roads are horribly crowded with cars, bus service is sparse and really lacking, and we have a very limited train between a small area of downtown that goes nowhere useful for most anyone. I would LOVE a subway or train for commuting.
3. Your favourite colour is.... PINK! Not a baby pink, more of a magenta/fushia bright pink!
1. In 7th grade I got bangs. I had them into 8th grade. They were a horrible mistake. I have naturally curvy/wavy hair that is very sensitive to heat and humidity. It was a disaster.

1.Describe the worst haircut you've ever had. 6th grade I tried to copy the hairdresser's... Way too short for me. And poofy. Immortalized in my school picture
2. If you were the mayor of your city or town and money wasn't an issue what is the first thing you would do or change? Revamp, get rid of fast food, bring in a downtown /Main Street and some restaurants

1. Describe the worst haircut you've ever had. Not actually a haircut, but it's hair related. When I was 17 I decided I was going to dye my hair white-blonde. However, I left the dye on far too long, and the bleach burned off half of my fringe, and severely burned some of the surrounding hair. What was left of my hair was patchy white and bright yellow. It took 6 months to get the colour back to a nice, even shade, and two and a half years to grow out all the burned hair.
2. If you were the mayor of your city or town and money wasn't an issue what is the first thing you would do or change? Sort out the traffic congestion in the city centre. We have really good public transport, but the traffic in the centre is still mental, and its annoying for us pedestrians.
3. Your favourite colour is.... Green. Any shade, from lime green to bottle green, I do not care.
1. I have naturally curly hair but went for a short bob (it was mushroom cut-ish) with choppy bangs. Without the weight to hold my bangs down they shot out....short and curly (yep...I went there).
1. I've had a great many haircuts: all the way from a buzz cut in college (and an eyebrow piercing... I was so cute and punk.) to down to the middle of my back now. The worst was probably when in the 10th grade, I had short hair that my friends convinced me to dye black. I had these big round glasses and this messy black short hair. At sleepovers I always woke up with a lightning bolt sharpie-d on my forehead.
2. Hmmmm. I live in an amazing city with so many resources. I think I would create more support structures for struggling youth with mental health and substance abuse issues.
1. Describe the worst haircut you've ever had. Super short with my curls was just ALL BAD! I have always been paranoid about having big hair, it was a mini fro, all day every day!
2. If you were the mayor of your city or town and money wasn't an issue what is the first thing you would do or change? Create a community garden that all families could access

1. Describe the worst haircut you've ever had. +1 for team spiral perm gone wrong.
2. If you were the mayor of your city or town and money wasn't an issue what is the first thing you would do or change? There is NO public transportation here to speak of.
3. Your favourite colour is.... Black. Followed by blue, and silver.
