I took Mac to a walk in clinic last week and a man came and sat down a few seats over and gave him a dirty look everytime he coughed..... We're at the effing walk in clinic! Everyone here is sick so get over it and don't give my kid a dirty look. Even worse, this guy was there with a cough.
You should've replied, "Rude people shouldn't be allowed out of their houses either." So you shouldn't be allowed to try and get relief for your back when you're sick? Ridiculous.

That lady was stupid. I can understand, in the moment, why you felt like you needed to leave the chiro, but you shouldn't have had to.
I hope the antibiotics work for you. My doc put me on a z-PAC + inhaled steroids on Friday for bronchitis and I'm finally starting to feel today. It's so tiring to be sick for an extended period of time - I can only imagine how drained you must feel with three LOs to care for, plus first tri exhaustion, plus illness.
Thats ridiculous. When you have a newborn you have to either stay home, keep the baby in the carrier (where they are pretty protected from being coughed on) or accept that it's cold season. I try to sit as far as possible from anyone at the ped when I bring our baby in but of course expect there will be sick kids there!
My H works in neuroradiology his stories of vertebral artery dissections after chiropractics have scared me off of ever going to a chiropractor. I am sure good ones are fine, but ya.. I will pass.

I'm sorry you had a crappy day. I had to reschedule my osteopath appointment last week to this week and that extra week between manipulations is rough.
Have you ever tried an osteopath? I've been to a few crappy chiro's who want to see me 3 times a week. I felt like they just wanted my money. The osteopath that I see is amazing. She does most of her work with her eyes closed. She doesn't ask what hurts specifically. She can feel it. Her approach is much more gentle than any chiropractor that I've seen.
People are so rude. I work in the ER and you would be surprised how many people being their healthy infants along with 5 other family members and then complain about all the sick people. Hello....you are in an emergency room!
Sorry that happened. It does always baffle me that people complain about sick people at the doctor's office, especially during cold and flu season. Duh. You can't tell me the office couldn't have mailed her the paperwork if she was really that concerned about her baby getting sick.
