The people watching however, is pretty great. Fringe leather western jackets, mullets, crazy lady walking around in a forest green very robe-like sweater, lady with a hair-do straight out of 1983...

MH got Cadence to the dc only to find that he had in fact read the delays website wrong and they were closed until 9. Good thing we live close.
ETA: Guess giving her that pouch this morning wasn't so bad an idea after all since they won't be giving breakfast at dc due to the late opening. MH can suck it!
ljgs1010 I had a vaginal delivery, so really have no idea of what the recovery from a CS would be like. However, like JoeLies, I had a long labor and had been awake for a crazy long time by the time M was finally born. The thought of having it planned and being well rested and not completely exhausted when I welcomed a newborn into the world, sounds wonderful. And, you don't have to fear pain with DTD later. I see a lot of benefits to a RCS. You can schedule a RCS and continue to think about it and can always change your mind.

Thanks for all the input, guys. I think I'm over-thinking it. I just keep being like, "well, vaginally is the way it's SUPPOSED to happen, right?".
ggandlee, this isn't true! You'd think there'd be no pain DTD after CS, but there is. I'm sure not as much as a vaginal delivery, but it definitely took many, many times trying for things to go back to feeling normal.

I had no idea! I guess things still get stretched and manipulated either way, so that makes sense. Well, nevermind on that then!
@sing2phins, I hear you. We get old people telling us that C's red cheeks mean he's obviously not bundled up enough, or that his cough (thank you, daycare) is bad and we need to give him cough medicine. Or any host of things. People are nosy and annoying know-it-alls when it comes to kids. SMH.
She was up coughing multiple times last night. Her fever is low this morning and she's back to trouble-making so I'm guessing she's getting back to feeing better. She just brought me the containers of animal crackers and cheddar bunnies. Her nose is running like a faucet still. She's been doing this thing where she puts her hand in front of her mouth when she's swallowing medicine or starts to cough. I didn't teach her that so I have no idea where she learned it. Thanks for checking on her.
@sing2phins, people suck. We got judged hard once, via baby talk, when E managed to get himself tangled up while sitting in a high chair (buckled in, so don't ask me how it happened) and we couldn't get him untangled fast enough for some lady's liking. It took everything in me not to give her a verbal smackdown.
Also, I let E chew on a restaurant coaster this past weekend. It kept him entertained for about 15 minutes. I felt like I was winning.
Some jackass sitting directly across from me in the public OR waiting room just started playing extremely obnoxious rap music out loud from his phone. As soon as he turned it on I looked up and gave him as mean of a death glare as I possibly could and maybe he turned it down a tiny bit, but it is still very obnoxious. WTF dude?
Oh and I decided after Hannah's last 2 appts I'm going to be looking for a new dr for her. Last Monday we had a scheduled appt and waited 30 mins past scheduled time to be seen and then yesterday an hour. I understand waiting a little bit, I work in a doctor's office and know they can get behind. But it happening every time is usually the doctor being overbooked because they have too many pts to see and not enough time. Also yesterday her appt was so rushed and he didn't even wait around long enough for me to ask questions so I had to ask a nurse. Besides, her current doctor is family practice and I'd rather her see a pedi.

A spouses group has recently started up for the spouses of military people working at the organization my husband works for. If we were stationed on base this would have been established already but there wasn't one here. Now there is and I'm going to be socially awkward at lunch with a bunch of other spouses. there may be one person I know there from where Dan was stationed in FL but she's been kinda elitist since her husband promoted to Major. Ahhh. I'm not good with strangers.

ljgs1010, it's totally personal but since you asked what N13 would do, I'm all about the rcs. I have no desire for a vbac. I pushed for 5 hours, I got the "birth experience". Next time, I'm scheduling that shit.
ggandlee, speedy recovery vibes your way! untaggablekatie, hugs to you. I can SC you a pic of my double chin if it will make you feel better.
M was up from 12:30 until sometime after 2 last night. I'm assuming another molar. He likes getting 2 teeth at a time. He wasn't super fussy the entire time, just AWAKE and picking at his mouth. It doesn't take 2 hours for Tylenol to kick in kid! Just saying! I'm one tired mommy today.
