I'm at work (RTP) today while DH is home with kids from closed daycare. I'm hoping to head out later this afternoon; roads were awful this morning. I hear more snow headed our way tomorrow! I am assuming the rest of this week will be closed too...ugh
ericalee27 I'm ignoring the rest of the forcast. I was almost out the door when they called a delay, but a lot of coworkers got stuck in the traffic trying to go home

Yeah, I instantly regretted coming into the office this morning, but I was already on the way so decided to keep going. I'm seeing at least 3-5 inches tomorrow night, potentially more. Woof.
We've been stuck inside for weeks. It has been very cold here, especially the past couple of weeks with wind chills, and we've had quite a few snow storms too. I'm so sick of it. The average temp for this time of year is around 40 and it's been at least 20 degrees below that, without wind chills! 40 would feel like summer at this point.

Why do you guys keep getting all the snow? Michigan has had snow every day for the past week, but we've had less than an inch total accumulated!
IDK, but you can have it! 1 inch shuts down school for a week

I wish we got snow days! We're both essential employees because we're in health care so there's no chance of a snow day. Schools are very very rarely closed up here, and I haven't noticed a single business being closed this year. Apparently I need to move south where 5in of snow shuts down a town. We have at least 3ft on the ground and one section of town had their pipes freeze, but life goes on!

It's really beautiful today, which is great because it is DS's bday and my parents' last day in town. DS got a balance bike as his present, so we had to take it to the park to try it out. Please excuse my AWing

It kind of sucks honestly at least in my situation. Schools/daycare close but I'm expected to work from home as normal...with a 2 yr old and a 4 year old. Wheeee! I end up working all night to catch up.
