I went away for the weekend without DS!

This past weekend, my chorus had a great retreat just over the border in WA state.  I left DS with DH and spent  the whole weekend singing and spending time with my chorus-mates!  DH and DS had a great time, and they slept well.  I roomed with the members of my quartet and they were lovely, quiet sleepers, but the tiniest member of the group, who is 16, was SUCH a bed hog!  It was pretty funny.

anyways, no real point here other than I just want to say that I'm proud of DH and so happy that I could go to the retreat.  We have another one in June, so I'm extra happy that I can go to that one without feeling horribly guilty.

That sounds fabulous. I took the baby away for the weekend recently and DH and our toddler had some quality daddy/son bonding time
