Sick of the daily headache. And my hips are getting achey when I sleep.
I know this might be worthy of an eye roll, but I'm a little anxious about not feeling movement. Ill be 17 weeks on Tuesday and I felt DS around 16-17 weeks and everything you read says you should feel it sooner the second time. Trying to be patient but I'm not great at it. I would feel better if I could just feel something.

I wouldn't worry. They also say every pregnancy is different. I think it also depends on how sensitive you are to your body how early you start feeling it. But don't worry, we'll all be feeling plenty of movement soon enough!
I woke up at 5:45am and haven't been able to fall back asleep. So I'm eating breakfast and catching up on the boards from last night. I'm hoping after I eat, I can sleep a little more.

Even though I've felt baby twice in the past week, it still freaks me out because it's not every day. I know nothing is wrong, but my brain tries to make me think otherwise... A month from now when we're all feeling something every day, the world will be much happier
Nittany I felt DS move at 14 weeks. I'm pushing 16 weeks soon and *think* I felt the baby move twice and that's it. I just keep telling myself that every pregnancy is different and so is every baby. Sometimes I wish I had my own u/s machine!

I wouldn't worry too much, like PPs have said, every pregnancy is different and if you have an anterior placenta it could make a difference too. I had a friend that had an anterior placenta (on the front wall of the uterus) so she couldn't feel the baby until much later in her pregnancy.
Constipation has hit, so I've started taking Miralax again. My heartburn is also getting worse but only in the evenings. Tums doesn't really help much. I have to take hypothyroidism pills which have all these rules about taking them, and now I've got a system and I don't really want to add Prevacid to the mix and have to re-do my system.
Also, I don't remember exactly when I felt DS really start moving, but I think it was also late, like maybe 18 weeks.
I am a back sleeper. As DH would say: I sleep like a corpse. I have been trying very hard to sleep on my sides but I keep waking up on my back. I know it's still early and this shouldn't necessarily be a problem yet, but I wake up with my hands asleep every time. I figure that must be a sign of poor blood flow. Odd what to do to keep me on my sides!!! Any suggestions?

I find that sleeping with a pillow between my legs and wedged behind my back keeps me from rolling onto my back - it's worth a try

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm a side sleeper and my hands fall asleep too. If something were wrong (very poor circulation, inability to breathe, etc...) You would wake up. Trust in your body. It won't let you down :-)
I think I'm finally getting the groove of these stomach meds to help me break down food. My stomach pain has been much less severe. I'm just praying when I go back to the OB this week I havent lost more weight. OB says if I lose anymore she will put me on ensure....and any milk/milky substance is not something I want during my pregnancy this go around lol
Other than that hip pain is waking me up at night already so that stinks. But other than that I'm feeling OK as long as I eat every couple hours.

If pillows don't do it, wear a sports bra and put a tennis ball in it on your back - this is how the ortho office my mom worked at would keep people off their backs if needed after a procedure.

I woke up this morning in the worst mood ever! And I have no idea why, stupid hormones/ emotions. I'm a little nauseated, and woken with a sore throat and blocked nose... And to make my day so much better it's snowing a lot, and I cannot stand the snow

Both of these for me too!!!! Daily headache and zero movement. I thought I'd feel something by now like I did with DS

I wake up with my arms and hands asleep like 5x every night! It's incredibly annoying, and seems to have nothing to do with my sleeping position (back or side). I used to have trouble with my hands from carpal tunnel, but so far that has been totally fine, so I'm not sure what to think. I feel like your body will warn you though as baby gets bigger - and you'd wake up if it was causing any damage!

I have to pee every hour. My lower back is always sore. This morning was the first time I have thrown up from morning sickness. Hopefully I feel better as the day goes on because I'm miserable right now.
Nittany, what is the deal with the hip pain? I'm having this too and it's awful!
With my first pregnancy I had to sleep in a recliner for the last 3 months. Laying on my sides when I'm pregnant makes my hips ache terribly and I know you're supposed to avoid sleeping on your back. Ugh, it feels waaaaay too early to move the recliner into my bedroom!
I actually had SPD last time which messed up my hips a lot and caused me pain at other times (it felt like I was ripping muscles in my crotch if I would try to lift one leg to put on pants or getting in and out of the car, etc. I wonder if that means I'm more likely to get it again? Or if that's at all related?

14+5 I don't feel pregnant anymore. Slight nausea, occasional hiccups, and very infrequent peeing. We're gonna pay to get an ultrasound at the end of the month to put my fears at ease.

If I could get off the nausea medicine I'd feel amazing. I feel pretty good anyway, except for the headaches and constipation the meds are causing. I'm down to one pill a day, I get a little queasy in the evenings, but I can usually power through it. Can't do that with the morning dose though - learned the hard way. 14w tomorrow.

I'm feeling the same way. I saw baby two weeks ago but I keep having "what if" moments. I have an appointment in less than two weeks so hopefully hearing the heartbeat will help me. (((Hugs)))
Still fighting nausea. I threw up this morning before I could even get out of bed. I want to stop taking the anti-nausea meds, but I just end up sick. I hate the side effects of them.
I have been feeling the baby move once in a while. It makes it all worth while!
