So DH and I are watching the PVRed Parks and Rec finale, enjoying an adult beverage after kidlets are asleep, as you do. I notice two little spots on LO's chin (she's in the bouncy chair at my feet, snoring away). The conversation follows: Me: "What is that?" DH: "What is what?" "Those spots" "What spots?" "Those brown spots on her chin" "Huh?" *licks finger and smudges them, then licks finger* "Is that chocolate?" {Side note - I ate chocolate earlier} "Wait, there's more on her onesie" "What?" "It must have rubbed off from her chin to her onesie" "Wait, what is it?" "I don't know!" *starts to pick up LO* "Oh my god, there's more!" "More WHAT?" "I DON'T KNOW!" (There is dried redish-brown all over the Side of LO's head. Severe panic ensues) "Oh my god. I think it's blood..." (More panic) "DID IT TASTE LIKE BLOOD?!?" "I DON'T KNOW!!!" (I lift LO out of the bouncy seat. There is redish-brown on the fabric of the bouncy seat) "OH MY GOD! IS SHE BLEEDING?!?" {side note - she had a bath earlier; I scrubbed somewhat vigorously behind her ears - bleeding head wound from bath time seems like a logical supposition at this point}

I am also glad I'm not the only one. I may have wiped off jelly that I had dropped on DS' head and then proceeded to lick it off my finger yesterday. Nursing and eating is still a daily challenge for us.

When DH and I go out for dinner, I usually end up having to wear C to get him to be good while we eat. I might have licked salsa off his head at the Mexican restaurant the other night when no one was looking Drippy things are hard...
