maebb well that person sounds like a complete idiot! Hmm what giant portion of the population has young children?! Guess Starbucks should give up on their business! Pretty sure I'd rather my 3 and 5 year old have a parfait over a mcdouble. BTW me and my mini are totally getting some today, however I'm wimping out with a drive thru visit. But it is freezing out!

So how often does everyone's littles spit up? I only notice it maybe once a day, and its always when I lay her on her back to "play" for awhile. Just curious!
Got our babe to sleep two hours in her crib last night, so that was a success for us. But when I was supposed to put her back after nursing I was too lazy to rock her to sleep. I need to break up with bed sharing, its just so hard after 4 weeks.
So, I made it here from TB finally... Not sure if anyone remembers me since I haven't been that active since Charlotte was born, but in any case, hi again. I keep thinking of random questions and concerns that I have and log into TB and find that it's totally deserted. So looking forward to chatting with everyone here, it looks nice and active!
LaBellaVida, I fought with my curly hair until I was 13, and then I made peace with it. DH hates it straight, so I almost always wear it curly, and it saves me a lot of time. I vote for natural!
@littlefoote, I hope you all get well soon.
My first day back at work is going ok. I kind of don't like when people look you up and down and say, "You look good for having just had a baby." Ummm...thanks?
My friend (I use that term loosely) said this on FB, and I typed up a response but then decided to stay out of that battle. So he thinks moms with kids should not be welcome at Starbucks? If they want to spend the money, they have just as much of a right as anyone else (and probably need the caffeine).
How about people who don't know how to spell latte shouldn't be allowed in Starbucks
I'm exhausted. Our bed sucks ass and last night I had a terrible time getting comfortable.
I was supposed to leave an hour ago to get my errands done at a decent time but I'm still in bed and will probably be in bed for awhile longer. Z is up and grunting next to me. I think she's trying to poop.
I really want cinnamon rolls but I'm opting for raisin bran and oranges instead. Healthy choices suck ass
Soooooo is it too early to start drinking my new wine? I'm all sorts of bummed today because FI and I have hit quite a rough patch and other than just wanting to lay in bed all day and cry, which I can't because I've got to be a responsible adult, the new wine sounds like an amazingly tasty alternative. I have never in my life been one to turn to alcohol when I get sad, ever. It's more like when you buy yourself a new pair of awesome shoes or new jeans that make you feel sexy, and you just have to break them out for the fun of it. I guess I'll be more practical and just drown my foul mood in chocolate cupcakes instead. I'll be chocolate wasted by 3pm!
I need help. I can't stop eating cookies and fudge for breakfast. I'm never going to lose these final few pounds.
For me its dove dark chocolate. I don't know why I keep weighing myself expecting progress. When my LO naps, I lay down and Facebook/post here. Not exactly helping to get in shape!
I ate a salad for lunch, so that totally justifies eating an entire roll of Girl Scout cookies right?
@littlefoote hope you guys all get healthy soon!
CoffeeOnIce my lo spits up like that too. He'll go days without spitting up and then all of a sudden he'll spit up while playing or shortly after eating. It's very random.

CoffeeOnIce my lo spits up maybe once a day usually after feeding him and then moving him around to burp or change diaper. Although I think he spits up more often and swallows it. Eww babies.
And me too about cosleeping. I only started doing it when my dh was working so much overtime and didn't want lo to wake him. Now lo is fine sleeping alone and starts off the night in his crib but later in the night, after feeding, I'm too lazy to put him back in it. That's gotta stop.
@littlefoote hope the get the IV in and everyone gets to feeling better.
LO slept from 9-1 and 1:30-5 and then till 8. I will take it!
I hear everyone talking about Girl Scout cookies and it make me want some! But M has a moon and soy protein intolerance and since I am BF I have had to cut all of that out of my diet.

CoffeeOnIce, my LO spits up after almost every feed. That's thanks to my crazy letdown, though. I wish it were once a day, I'd have to do much less laundry!

Yep, he's one that I mainly keep on my friends list for entertainment. He doesn't have kids, so he's quick to judge the "soccer mom" crowd.
DS1 and I had an epic battle over his nap. I feel like that's the story of my life these days. I "won" but yelled at him, so I feel like I lost.
DS2 slept ok last night. Yay!
I think I'm having sciatic pain again. Going up the stairs rivals contraction pain. It's also really hard to chase the toddler around. For those of you that had this during pregnancy, did massage or a chiropractor help?
I had my 6 week pp appointment yesterday. I was not cleared for sex. The best part was first she asked me if we had DTD yet (I said no, I had an episiotomy and wanted to wait till after the dr to be cleared since I was scared about what was happening down there) and then was like, yeah, you should wait...
Anyway, we discussed BC, and she recommended the mini pill (I don't want an IUD). Has anyone had experience with this while BF? I'm concerned about a decreased supply. Surprisingly H was okay with no BC and using condoms, although I don't know if he'll be happy about that after a year of BF. TIA for any info you ladies have. Just want to be well informed before I start the pills.

I was put on the mini pill after DS. I did not notice a drop in supply. I did have breakthrough bleeding. Basically, it was a 3 day period every two weeks. Not cool. I went on the normal pill after. No more break through bleeding, but with that I did notice a drop in supply.

Yes, I know you! Welcome @bkmama!
My DS2 slept like a champ last night. Yay!
It's not too bad here. It's breezy here, so I'm wearing a hoodie. I can't believe that some people have tons of snow!

@littlefoote Glad they got you admitted and making you comfy! Hope the road to recovery is just as smooth.
DD slept "through the night" for the first time! Technically from 1ish (since we had to shower and change the sheets after a massive spit up--- cluster feeding gone bad) to 7ish, but I'll take it! I will confess we were bed sharing but still. Now cue this not happening again for a while.
I am kind of jealous of all the snow out there. We never got one besides a dusting week of Thanksgiving. But the cherry blossoms are blooming, crocus are up, and daffodils about to bloom any day now!

I tried putting DS in the Moby today so I could wear him around the house and he started screaming. I don't get it, he's liked it before and he looked comfortable in it. Boo. I'm hoping he just wasn't in the mood for it and not starting to hate it.
