1. I'm not that adventurous with food. I tried some very "exotic" looking sushi (not really sure what it was to be honest) that my sister was eating at Christmas time. She basically said "I know you would never try this," so I did. We have that kind of relationship HAHA
2. I really like bedtime recently. Usually I feed Will and snuggle with him for a few minutes in the dark, then I put him in his bed and I usually lay in our bed (he is still in our room) and listen to him babble and wiggle around a little until he falls asleep. Sometimes I just stay in bed after that and play on my phone until I fall asleep. Other times, I go back downstairs for a bit with J and have a snack HAHA. I really like that snuggle time in the dark though, and laying in bed relaxing a bit after a long day hearing him winding down for the day in his little bed off in the corner. I don't know why, but it makes me feel warm and fuzzy.
3. Probably thank you notes we wrote after Will was born for gifts that we received. We sent out Holiday Cards around Christmas, but we didn't have time to write personal notes on them this year.
1. When I lived in West Africa, fried locusts (grasshoppers) were very common to find in the market. The women deep fried them and then rolled them in chili powder and squeezed lime over them. They sold them by the baggie- about .30 a bag. They were pretty good!
2. I get off work at 7pm and I love coming home and pealing off my work clothes!
3. My wife writes me a lunch note most days. If I make her lunch she gets one from me. We've been doing that since 2010!
calsurb, I love your #3. It would never happen in our house, but I love it.
1. This stuff isn't that "Out there," but the amount which I loved it is a bit unusual ... I grew up eating Liver, Kidneys and Tongue quite often. I especially liked Tongue. Now, the texture bothers me since I have more of a grasp of what it is.
2. I love getting Gabe up in the morning. He is SO sweet. He hands me his blankets one at a time so I can hang them over the side of the crib, then gives me a big kiss on the lips. I also really enjoy coming back downstairs after putting him to bed, and having an hour or so of time with Sara in the evenings.
3. We wrote VERY heartfelt (and long) thank you notes for every gift that we received for Gabe. I also hand wrote a condolence card recently. Oh, and I hand wrote notes to all of Gabe's daycare teachers at the holidays. They were in Spanish (which I don't speak)!!
1. What was the weirdest food you've ever eaten? I am a foodie wannabe, but I don't really try anything! I just dream of cooking it all. Lame!
2. What is your favorite time of day? About 6, both be and I are home from work, and done working out. We chill out, then normally make dinner. I never imagined that boring domestication would be so enjoyable.
3. When did you last write a hand written letter or note? (Bonus points if you can remember one that wasn't to yourself) I wrote my friend a thinking of you note when she got her double mastectomy and did all of our thank yous from the wedding.

1. What was the weirdest food you've ever eaten? When I was in Iceland a couple of years ago, I ate some really weird stuff. I had Hakarl, which is shark fermented in its own fluids. It was expectedly disgusting. I also ate a puffin heart while I was over there, which didn't taste bad, but I felt really guilty about eating it.
2. What is your favorite time of day? The early morning. I actually really like the business of getting ready in the morning.
3. When did you last write a hand written letter or note? (Bonus points if you can remember one that wasn't to yourself) I can't even remember.

1. Um- probably shark? I've been a vegetarian for 15 years or so now and most "weird" foods seem to be non-vegetarian so I've not had many. I'm pretty adventurous when it comes to food so I'll try pretty much anything vegetarian.
2. Laying in bed with LO at bedtime and during her first morning nursing session. Also our family walk most evenings.
3. I write DD1 notes all the time. Probably yesterday or the day before was the last one.

1. I'm a very picky eater so I can't say that I've ever tried something weird.
2. Favorite time of day is whatever time my wife and I are home together. Me in the kitchen and her watching from the breakfast bar. I work rotating 12 hr shifts so we don't always have a lot of time together.
3. Last time I hand wrote a letter was probably about a year ago. My job takes me overseas every year and I always make sure to and write a few letters to my wife while I'm there! I'll also try and pick up a few postcards and mail them to family and friends
2. Bed time. I love cuddling with manada and knowing that we get to have 6-10 hours together.
3. I write notes to co-workers often (a note about something I've left on their desk, for instance). Or if M is taking a nap and I take the dog out, I'll leave a note by the bed so she knows where I've gone. I include handwritten notes in all of the packages I send out for work stuff.
****loss and living child discussed***** We're queer. I'm 34, have severe stage 4 endo, and both fallopian tubes are gone. My love ("Manada" 33) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tav.in and Ca.sey at 21 weeks gestation.
1. I think the weirdest thing I've tried is probably cow tongue. It was not my favorite.
2. Though I hate mornings in general, I love the time between alarms when Sweetie and I snuggle up so tightly, and I drift in and out of sleep. It's so pink and soft and lovely.
3. Ummm. I hand wrote a note to some co-workers last week, explaining a calendar I left on the table for them to read/take.
