Was prescribed Zoloft today by GP but wondering if I can take it up til I get BFP or if I should just wait until I get my FSH level and not take it at all?
Anyone take this? What did you do? I've never been on anything like this. Not needing it for depression but for anxiety. TIA.
hey lady - I am sorry you're dealing with this - I have anxiety issues myself, so I get it!
I have never taken Zoloft, but I did take Lorazapam after my dad passed when I was having a hard time. What I did is call my OB, I told her I wanted to get pregnant soon but needed something to get me over the hump. It may be worth a call to OB or RE to verify is some drugs may be better than others when closing in on an IVF cycle. My OB also told me that if I didn't get better she could give me a pregnancy safe med to take..... Perhaps they could just give you that out of the gate.

She also gave me xanax so I was thinking that since it's as needed, I could take that if I needed to until I got either a poor FSH or a BFN then I can take the Zoloft cause although I'm ready to move fwd with my life with that kinda news, I still think it's gonna be a hard pill to swallow.
Honestly, it takes a few weeks to really help so I would speak to your RE but with an aim to taking it now. I have been on Zoloft since about 2m post partum. This is my 2nd cycle on it and I haven't had anyone say boo about me being on it. It shouldn't mess with your hormones.
I've been on Zoloft before (take Xanax as needed now). I would just speak with the RE about it. Like pp said, it does take a few weeks to start working
