So folks, I didn't test the trigger out, I never have but now I kinda (totally) want to POAS.
Any of you have experience with testing the trigger out? I know it's not an exact science but just looking for an idea of how long it took before the trigger was out of your system.
No experience, but I would say the closer you are to beta day, the safer you are its gone. BUT there's always the oddball who has it in their system all the way to BETA, so it's tricky...
We're a queer family with some bad fertility issues. I'm 32, have dimished ovarian reserve, and my partner-love ("healz413") has severe endo. We did Partner IVF (her eggs, my uterus) for our first babies. Our beautiful twin daughters, Tavin & Casey, were born in June '14 too premature at 21 weeks to survive - We miss them.
Our double-rainbow baby "E" - otherwise known as "Rocky 3" was born in August of 2015. She's wonderfu.
Did you use the 10,000 HCG trigger shot or the one with a lot less HCG in it (can't remember the brand name)? The less HCG in your trigger shot, the less likely it is to be in your system now.
****loss and living child discussed***** We're queer. I'm 34, have severe stage 4 endo, and both fallopian tubes are gone. My love ("Manada" 33) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tav.in and Ca.sey at 21 weeks gestation.
Ugh, waiting is so nerve racking! I tested 2 or 3 days before 28 day cycle mark and got a positive when I was pregnant. I called the office and the nurse Pracitioner was super excited for me. Then later the OB called and said she didn't want me to get my hopes up and that it might be the trigger. That was nerve racking. I was pregnant though I think it is normally out of system by then but some bodies may metabolize it differently than others. So she probably didn't want me to get really excited when it wasn't definite.
My trigger was always out by 11 days past trigger- 9.5 dpiui. My trigger shots were all 10,000 HCG. I longer you wait though the more reliable that second line will be!

The first time I tested out my trigger it took 10 days to leave my system. This last time it tested out at 9 days. They say it differs on women but typically for every 1,000 units in your short it takes a day to come out of your system. Usually the trigger shot consists of 10,000 unit.
