Replace nutella with peanut butter in this graphic, and it describes my feelings for peanut butter! Don't get me wrong, I love nutella. But I can pretend peanut butter is healthy!

1. Share one thing you didn’t understand about the world when you were a kid. That people didn't all have the same wonderful life I did. I was so blessed that even people who didn't have parents together, confused me. In my pretty pink bubble, everyones parents were married and happy, you had food, and shelter and love and support... I still have a hard time with this.
2. What is your favorite quote? I don't really have ONE, to be honest. One I happen to love is, "Life is like photography. We develop from the negatives"
3. Peanut butter or Nutella? Nutella. No contest. (Fun fact: The family that 'owns' Nutella also owns Ferraro Rocher, AND Tic Tacs! I'm in LOVE!)

Racism - As a mixed kid growing up in a very diverse family that never talked about the color of someone's skin, it didn't make any sense to me.
2. What is your favorite quote?
Don't let it go, let it be. (Meaning, don't bury something and try to forget about it because you will do more harm than good. It's ok to experience something bad and accept it as part of you.)

Nutella! I've never really liked peanut butter (or jelly).

Death- the concept that people were gone forever just didn't quite make sense. I thankfully never had to deal with it much when I was young, so it was just a foreign concept to me. 2. What is your favorite quote?

1. Share one thing you didn’t understand about the world when you were a kid. I'm another one for death. I was only about eight when I realised I didn't believe in heaven, or any other afterlife, and it took me a long while to wrap my head around how someone could exist in one moment, and essentially not in the next.
2. What is your favorite quote? "Everything will be alright in the end. If it is not alright, then it is not yet the end." I heard it on The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, and though its probably a naive thought, it makes me feel better.

1. Share one thing you didn’t understand about the world when you were a kid. Echoing bmorecharming, discrimination in general. I grew up in a little bit of a bubble and went to a hippie school and definitely thought we lived in some post-racism world. This, maybe obviously, led to some problematic thinking on my part. I'm figuring it out now! Recognizing privilege and systems of oppression that you're part of whether or not you want to be sucks.
2. What is your favorite quote? Soooooo many, but right now I am considering this for a tattoo: "You were made perfectly to be loved, and surely I have loved you my whole life long."
3. Peanut butter or Nutella? Peanut butter! Don't get me wrong, I like Nutella in the right context, but peanut butter is more universal for me.
1. I think I was in middle school before I figured out that my Aunts (a married couple that had been together for years before I was born) were lesbians.
2. My favorite quote... This is so tough for me. Right now, I have been saying "It's okay to be mad, it's not okay to be mean" quite a lot. But that's not really a quote. Guys, I seriously just opened a tab to do a google search with the terms "my favorite quote." That's so sad.
3. Hmm. Peanut butter is so versatile and is definitely a household staple for me. But Nutella is an exciting treat to have once in a while. Both! (I fail at the GTKY questions tonight.)
