Not sure about anyone else, but at this point the 5th town around, my uterus is like "weeee! I know what to do!" and just flops out. Hahaha. I'm 15 weeks today, and thought a first bump pic would be appropriate added bonus, I feel the baby move daily now since 14 weeks.

Still no noticeable bump for me. It wasn't overly noticeable until 22ish weeks with my first. I'm 5'9 so I have the height working in my favour. I'm almost 16w now, hoping for no noticeable bump until closer to 20wks since i don't want to tell work until then.
I feel huge already. I'm 16 weeks and I look like I did at 24 with DS. I'm a little terrified. I'm really hoping it just popped early and it's not a sign of how big this baby will be!

I have the littlest bump that popped out last week (I'm now 14 weeks with my first.) It's definitely uterus, and is just enough to look chubby and make my pants fit poorly. I'm maybe obsessed with it but I'm sure I look like I'm lovingly caressing my muffin top.

So this while baby bump thing...is it really just all of a sudden there one day when it was not the day before!? Sorry if that's a dumb question, but this is my first, and none of my friends have kids, so I'm just going by people's description of when they "popped".
And I am concerned because I'm travelling for work all next week, and right now everything still fits, but the bloat is making things a tad tighter. Do I need to have a backup plan for waking up in a hotel with no clothes that fit!? I also have a week long meeting in 2 weeks I'm concerned about, because it's dressier and no down time to go shopping! (Meeting followed by dinner followed by evening activity). I'm getting worried, but at the same time have absolutely NO need for maternity anything yet - not sure how I'd gauge what will fit!
I haven't taken a new picture since the last HDBD but I am definitely starting to have a good little bump! I'll take a new one on Wednesday and post then definitely in love with it but I feel the same as kristhegirl - people who don't know me probably think I'm lovingly rubbing my lunch. Oh well!

I didn't actually "pop" until around 25 weeks with my other pregnancies. It might be earlier for some people.

I would just buy a pair of maternity dress slacks. You don't even need to be big yet for them to fit well. I did and it was the best move ever. They fit like normal slacks from your hip bones, down. Then the waist is made of a soft stretchy fabric (maybe a spandex nylon blend?) When you're bigger, you pull it up over your whole belly. Right now, I just fold it over in half over my pooch/mini-bump. so comfortable. With a shirt over it, they look just like normal slacks, and no tight waist or muffin top!

It all depends on the person, but I have seen people who literally just pop. One chick on my Instagram was like 22 weeks and flat and the next week had a clear belly. It's so weird but amazing!
On the traveling note, my sister in law went out of town for two weeks and actually grew out of most of her clothes she packed. Granted, she was further along (22 weeks I believe), but it happens. I would prepare for it to happen!

Kind of. I mean for me I felt my bump before anyone could see it and then all of a sudden it was like "what the hell, can't suck that bad boy (or girl...) in anymore." I feel like it was more gradual with my first but this time it seemed over night. And much sooner. I didn't "pop" until 19 weeks with my first. I'm 15w4d and have a noticeable bump now.
I started bump pics yesterday...I wasn't going to do them because of my weight but on the other board a mom that had an early loss gave some advice as she left...including that the plus size mommies should do them. I'll post my 13 week pic (it's mainly cute because of my dog) if I can figure out how to edit out my last name.

I'm a plus size mommy too and I think you're gorgeous and so is your bump! I'm starting to do bump pics soon, I'm 16w tomorrow so I'll probably start then. I agree that it's important to make sure bumps of all sizes get represented on here.

Love it! that dress looks really pretty on you. Gotta love baby bumps!
I definitely have a little bump going on. It still looks like I just had a big sandwich, but it's liberating to not have to try to suck it in all the time.
DH just asked me if I wanted to take my first bump photo, but I'm too lazy to change. Last pregnancy we started around 6 weeks and I wore the same tank top for each photo, so now we have a cool time lapse video. This baby has nothing so far

I'm a plus size momma to be too! I started last week with my 12W pic. The twins are making my belly quite hard and large. I do wonder how much bigger I'll be compared to my friends with singletons. Us plus sized moms should never e afraid to post bump pics. You are absolutely beautiful!

Thanks for posting that picture, it's really nice! It makes me feel better seeing other plus size ladies posting/willing to post bump pics! I haven't taken any of my own yet, but I hope to do it soon.

Definitely travel with a back-up plan! During my last pregnancy I popped overnight! At least bring some baggier tops and a Bella band in case you can't button your pants. You will end up needing bigger clothes at some point, so it's not like it will be a waste of money!
