NPR: Children of the 80s help me out

On my drive home last night I was thinking of shows I grew up with to share with my son.  I let him watch "Welcome to Pooh Corner" last night.

I'm blanking on one of the shows I watched - in my memory, it was like a live-action version of The Wuzzles, with all the actors in full costume like the Pooh Corner guys.    I can't figure out what it was.  There's a possibility I'm thinking of Zoobilee Zoo, but I remember them being in full costume, not partial.

Anyone know what I'm thinking of?

Lamb chops and Barney come to mind when I think of what I watched as a kid. No clue about the show you are searching for though.

We watched My Little Pony, inspector gadget, astro boy, transformers (I think I was between 6 and 9) for most of those. I don't remember really little kid shows except Sesame Street and lamb chops play along.

Zoobilee zoo was definitely more makeup, not costumes. I can't come up with it yet, but I am wracking my brain!

Lamb chops was my shiz. I had a Lamb Chop birthday party when I was 6, and we ate fucking Lamb Chops.... WTF mom?

I also loved My little Pony, but the new version is creepy as fuck. I ordered Piper some old ones on EBay a while back.

Also- the original Teenage mutant ninja turtles, new one is creepy. What's with all the creepy new shows?

No idea what you're trying to think of but I have some childhood faves to share.
I was born in 88 so my memories are from the 90's but I loved reading rainbow, wishbone, eureka's castle, lamb chop, alegra's window, gulla gulla island, seaseme street, and the magic school bus.

Care Bears, Mr. Dressup (Canadian), Fraggle Rock, Under the Umbrella Tree, TMNT, JEM and the Holograms, My Pet Monster, The Smurfs.
And, when I was with my Nanna I watched As the world turns, Young and the restless and Bold & the Beautiful

Are you thinking of Fraggle Rock? I LOVED that show. Although on second thought, I think they might have been puppets.

Not Fraggles, they were. .. Fraggles. These were animals. Well, people in animal costumes. Like Pooh Corner or Dumbo's Circus.

Oh my gosh this just sent me on a nostalgia train. Poohs Corner was amazing! Wracking my brain for another full costume show. Now I have that early 90s Dinosaurs sitcom in my head haha brilliant!

We bought a year's subscription for Nick Reboot & it's amazing! We stream it through our roku but you can stream online.

I rediscovered Eureka's Castle and David the Gnome through there!

Was it the one with the song skinny marinky dinky dink? I remember a solider and elephant in that...

ETA I just goggled it - it was apparently one word - skidamarink. And the show was called the elephant show.

I watched fraggle rock, the muppets, Mr Rogers, reading rainbow, the smurfs, Care Bears, romper room.

Then later on I was into kids incorporated and gem and the holograms. I also loved watching the MTV top 20 countdown w my dad every week. Duran Duran videos, Boy George, Madonna etc

Pinwheel pinwheel spin me around...I remember watching a lot of She-Ra and You Can't Do That on Television. Sesame Street when I was younger.

And I saw Mr Rodgers live once and got his autograph.
