Formula Feeders- Honest Company?

I've been using enfamil newborn formula the past few weeks, and I'm thinking about making a change. I only started using it because I had samples in the house and in the middle of the night when the pediatrician said to make LO a bottle, I used what I had on-hand. He seems a little constipated and gassy today, and while that might not have anything to do with the specific formula, I wanted to research some other options now that I have the mental room to do so.

Has anyone ordered the Honest Company formula yet? I know it's very new so I can't find many reviews, but was wondering if anyone else was looking at it. It doesn't have DHA included, so you have to add it as a supplement, but other than that, it looks great. Is anyone super thrilled with the formula they're using? Do you ask your pediatrician before you switch? What are you all using?

I can't offer any opinion about anything from the Honest Company, but I switched from Similac Advance (the standard blue package) to the Target generic equivalent earlier this week and DD has been doing really well. I'd go so far as to say she's been less gassy on the cheaper stuff than the name brand. Unless there's something specific about the Honest Company brand formula that you like, it might be worth it to try out a cheap generic. The Target brand is literally half the price of Similac.

I don't think you need to speak to your pediatrician about it unless your LO has any sort of special dietary needs or issues. Just keep in mind that it can take a few days for your LO to get used to the new formula.

I don't use honest company, we use similac. I agree with dacora though, I would use generic if you can (I can't because we use alimentum... no generic).

I don't use formula but I do order stuff from the Honest Company so I read all about their new formula out of curiosity. I saw that for a limited time you could get a "free" tub of their formula for $12.95 (so more like half price). So maybe you could get the "free" tub to try?
