Is she still in her crib? If not, wow tell me all your secrets. If so, tell me all your secrets...If you can help me open my bottle of wine I will share it and another!!!!!!
Um DD is still awake over here. She playing right now. Not rubbing her eyes or that super hyper over tired state. Think it's going to be a big battle tonight

Mine hit 2 and literally that day the tantrums have started. It's been lovely. Oh and also he now is Iin the hiding while he poops. I walked by him and he told me "get out mommy, go away, go to your room!" Yeah feel the love.
Mine is asleep. But only because I nursed her to sleep. *hides face in shame*
I would really like to wean her, but as amazing as she is in so many ways, the kid absolutely SUCKS at falling asleep on her own. Every time I think we're making progress, something happens (teething, a cold, etc.) that makes her super clingy and she regresses and gets so upset when I put her in her crib that I'm scared she's going to end up hurting herself. And also, I would feel guilty leaving her to cry if I know she's sick or in pain. Blah.
On the bright side, a reasonable bedtime meant I had time to clean and pay bills while rocking out to my Spring Awakening cast recording, which I haven't listened to since DD was born because of all the swearing and inappropriate content that I didn't want her to hear/repeat.

The sleep lady says there's a two-year-old sleep regression. Mine is also in the middle of one. He's afraid of the dark and will only fall asleep while hugging his Eeyore pillow pet while I hug both him and Eeyore. It's cute, but a pain in the butt.
Ugh. DS spent over two hours crying the other night... Before bedtime and over what? Well, everything. I had a friend over, so he wanted his shirt off. Then it wouldn't come off. Then I took it off for him. And he wanted food. But not that food. And he wanted water, but when I handed it to him, lord have mercy. Over. Two. Hours. Everything was a reaction and nothing was a reaction. He didn't calm down until halfway through supper, and even then I would get in so much trouble if I even so much as looked at him. Wonder week/ regression, you say? That makes sense. Tell me more!
