What are you questioning about them? I've been taking the vitafusion gummie prenatals for years, and I add on a chewable vitamin C with iron to it. The vitafusion gummies don't have iron, so I get my iron that way. And the chewable-ness is still tolerable/easier on my tummy and iron absorbs better when taken with C anyways.

That's exactly what I take. I was only questioning because as I looked stuff up they were pricey and I didn't spend that kind of money on mine. It made me wonder if they were good. Idk. I'm nuts obvi

I take a random brand that I found at Whole Foods, but wanted to say that this pregnancy I added in a prenatal DHA supplement (not fishy - I think its flax or something) and b12 because I have mild MS and it's supposed to help.
I take the vegan rainbow light one prenatal. I also supplement with more calcium and a vegan dha. I love the combo I've been using so far. I plan to bring them to my first doctors appointment just to go over them and my diet. I'm pretty sure I'm doing what I should be, but I want to make sure.
I figure I am more likely to remember the gummy ones because they taste good, and I know I can tolerate them even when m/s is in fullswing... so I figure taking them is always better than forgetting/not being able to stomach them, even if there's a "better" option out there.
I take the one a day gummies. I really like them. They're easy to take when I'm nauseaus instead of swallowing a pill. I also take extra folic acid because another medication I'm on makes my folic low.
snoris, I'm an ovo-lacto pescatarian. I'm hesitant on how much seafood to eat right now, so pretty much ovo-lacto vegetarian at the moment.
We should definitely share some recipes though, I'm always trying to find new things to vary my diet.
Same same... no lacto for me unless it's used in a recipe. I don't do straight up milk. I can do like one egg. I used to do no fish, but when we started TTC I FOOOORCED myself to eat like 2oz of wild caught salmon per week for health purposes. I can handle like 3-4oz now and it's growing on me. I'm so glad because salmon is so healthy for babies! I don't want to take over this thread, but lets talk. We can PM unless there's any other veggies out there??

I'm not vegan but meat and eggs totally disgust me right now! I'm all for any recipes!
I take a prescription generic called Taron Prex and love it! It's vanilla flavored so you don't taste the nasty DHA fishiness. It has a stool softener, which helps and I have been taking it for almost three years. It also has 1200mcg folic acid, which you need. Good luck!

I take the belly bar chewable tablets (from walgreens) with a side of target brand prenatal dha. I love that the target dha is actually plant based instead of fish based which doesn't give me that nasty fishy smell!

I have an Rx one my OB started me on when we first started trying. It's called Nestabs DHA - Two pills. I will ask the MFM at my apt if it is really necessary. It's expensive!!
I use the costco ones. That's what I used last time, and that's what my OB recommended, unless you are sensitive and get sick on them (some women get sick from different things during 1st tri).
