Who's recovering from a hangover? What's going on today?
@mothereffer how's Si?
I'm still itchy. We're supposed to go to a parade this morning, but I've done absolutely nothing to get ready thus far. We're snuggling on the couch and watching Sesame Street.
I had two glasses of wine last night and surprisingly have no hangover. I'm getting ready to workout then we have a Whole Foods and Costco trip planned. Exciting Saturday!
Aww thanks for asking!! She is doing much better, her ear doesn't seem to be bothering her and solid poops lol. I hope your sickness is gone and that Mara stays clear of it!
Good morning friends. I didn't get much sleep last night cause H was up a few times. My head is still stuffed up and my ears and throat hurt. We need to run some errands later today. I don't plan on doing much parenting, DH can be in charge of that. tgrimes1980 are you the one that had an ear infection? I'm just curious what it feels like.

The rodeo started here this weekend and there's a big barbecue cook off. A friend invited us to go and we set up DS to go over to MIL's for the evening. The weather is straight up shitty here today. Cold and rainy. I really don't want to go anymore but it's too late to cancel.
trtlcrzy Yes, it was me. My ear felt like it needed to pop, there was a bunch of pressure & it hurt. MH had a double EI but he said his didn't hurt, it just felt like he was under water. My ear still feels like it's under water but ggandlee said it would until the fluid drains out.
Dang it, that's what my left ear feels like. I may need to go see the doctor.

Thank you guys for the gift suggestions. I ended up going to the local craft store and got two gifts- a purse she can color and a no sew pillow she can make- so totally for her, hope she likes them.
Also I'm loving this age right now. I was wrapping the gifts and handed B a piece of scrap gift wrap, so now she's trying to wrap up her own gift - it's her left shoe with a rawhide inside! So cute.
Oh and, B was running around nattering some toddler talk and at the end of his thoughts he came over and said a clear 'Eh', this is so awesome because, Canadian.
trtlcrzy, tgrimes1980 I used to get ear infections all the time, as am adult. A couple do years ago a friend recommended garlic. Now I take a few garlic pills whenever I feel the onset of one and it knocks it right out.
We really need the pregnant n13ers to give someone their cell #s so we can make sure they're okay. I really want to know if we have a new hologram yet!
I'm fb friends with her and she hasn't posted anything on there either.

Pretty chill day today for us. DH is taking care of L, so I am still in bed for the moment. He is such a wonderful dad. I woke up with some nasty head cold and I'm felling rather unmotivated. Don't have anything really planned for the day. DH has to do some studying and I still need to do all that cleaning I mentioned yesterday. I'm having a bit of a dilemma, I'm starting to get hungry and I know I need to eat or some hardcore nausea will set in, but I'm so comfy....hunger will win out in the end.
Telling my in laws today that I'm pregnant. Last time FIL said "huh how about that" and kept eating so I'm not expecting much. MIL will probably cry but I'm still kind of bitter that I didn't get a "sorry" or "thats awful" or shit from them when I lost Ana.
Then going to a family party tonight and Matthew will be wearing his "I'm the big brother" shirt so everyone will know.
Hope everyone has a great Saturday!
how far along are you? And I'm sorry for your loss.
Cherhorowitz I would be really excited about that.
MH and I sold our first house before V was born and he wanted to take the old appliances to our brand new house. They were in great shape so there was no reason not to, but I really wanted new ones, especially a dishwasher with a third rack. I was thrilled when the buyer said it was a deal breaker if we didn't sell them the appliances with the house.
So we made it home last night at 6:30. 4 hours on the plane on the ground for a 40 minute flight. Booooo.
Woke up this morning and the story on the news was the DFW to OKC flight-- they were stuck on the ground for 9 hours and raiding the airplane booze cabinet while the crew switched out!
So maybe my 4 hrs wasn't that bad. My flight attendants were nice and thankfully there were no kids or babies in the plane. Not that I would mind them, but I would have felt awful for their parents.
