Wine:DH cooked dinner almost all week! So delicious- and I didnt have to do it!
Whine: I have to go back to work on Monday. I'm not really ready. Also- a lot has changed at work, and I hate knowing I will have to play a major game of catch up!
Wine: I took our older son to the mall to get photos taken today. They came out so beautiful I almost cried when I saw the proofs. He and I hung out, went to the play place, rode the merry go round and chose a pair of sunglasses for him.
Whine: it's still freezing and we may be getting some winter weather tomorrow afternoon. We are having his birthday party and even though it's very small, I'll be super mad if it gets messed up. Last year we had to move his first birthday party last minute due to snow.

Wine~ Had a lovely dinner with our friends, one of whom is part of an adoptive family. He is going to see if his sibling is willing to sit down with us for an honest conversation about adoption and what we can do as white parents to a black child.
Whine~ Super conflicted about how long our adoption is taking. I want it to go faster because we keep hitting delays, but I am freaking out about getting matched too quickly before I can find and settle into a new job after graduation. Plus the dossier paperwork is aggravating me...
Wine: I had two days off work this week because of snow/bad weather.
Whine: Our pipes burst due to the weather over the last few weeks and our insurance adjuster is being incredibly slow to respond to our claim. We had a plumber out to fix the leak and a water damage specialist come to dry everything out, but we need insurance to hire a contractor (since we already met our deductible and they are paying for the work directly). It's been a week and no word even though we have called and left messages.
Wine: I am being spoiled by a French girl making me dinner this week. Great French food!
Whine: I went to the doctor with back pain and she gave me sleeping pills saying I need to relax and sleep more but I cant go to the gym for now and I want to go!
Wine: We had family from NC come visit and we had heaps of fun with them.
Whine: I am sick of two things: 1) waiting for our agency to give us more info on the status of our dossier in Peru. And 2) Snow!!! Omg so tired of shoveling!
Wine : foster application finally completely done after some regulation changes made us get refingerprinted. They said we should be active in about two weeks
*** losses mentioned
6 ICI at home
5 IUI
5 IUI with clomid
IVF #1 - loss at 12 weeks due to SCH
IVF #2 - negative
IVF #3 - twin loss at 17 weeks due to PPROM
Wine & Whine We met with expectant parents for the first time this past weekend. We were a nervous wreck. Unfortunately it wasn't a good fit. We are disappointed but we know that they will find the right adoptive parents. We are glad to have gone through this and are hoping that the next time will be right for all of us.
Wine: We probably only have one more home visit for our home study to be complete. It's crazy how quickly it is going!!
Whine: Due to how quickly our process is going, today DH and I had a fight over how busy life has been and the pressure we have been placing on ourselves to get everything done. A reminder we need some time for us over the next couple of weeks.
And a bonus Wine: we got pictures taken a couple of weeks ago to put in the profile book, as well as to have fun ways to announce our adoption. They were finished today! Whine: I tried to upload one here for a new profile picture, but it says file size too big.
Me: 39 DH: 39 DS1 born Sept 1999 Married Nov 2010 TTC 2010 2011 BFP ended in ectopic RE Aug 2014. Unexplained infertility Sept 2014-Dec 2014 fermera/IUI/TI BFN's
August 16, 2015 baby Boy M is born and our hearts melt!
[slightly late] Wine: I won over $220 in profit on my 6-month DietBet! Bonus Wine: I'm really appreciative of our invisible fence when there's so much snow out there!
Whine: The snow is never going to go away. And I'm really tired of trying to get my big dog back inside because if it were up to him, he would be outside ALL DAY LONG in this cold grossness.

Wine: My professor (who is a leader in the field) called me his prize student! To another leader in our field. And then told him to hire me already. I know the hiring won't happen because of freezes in the federal government, but huzzah!
Whine: Getting another wind of that "I want children yesterday" vibe, that I know will be squashed in two weeks when I think we're going too fast and I have no job lined up. Trying to tell myself that it will all happen when it is meant to, but arg! There are SO MANY more families now on the waiting list with our agency than last summer when we initially started and though we'd have our dossier in South Africa by Christmas, I'm so worried it's going to take us ages to match if we take any longer.
theatrepal - I'm going to use some of it to pay for my 'Pampered Mama' massage next week and then I'll just put the rest back in and keep playing more games!

Wine: I left work at 5:15 today Whine: It took almost 2 hours to get home because of the weather and everyone driving about 15 miles per hour. UGH winter go away!
irr! SO glad to have you contributing again! I've been creepy internet stalking you a long time and now I can comment in a non-creepy way.. unless I just ruined that.
I'm sorry to see all the struggles with waiting. I wish that weren't a necessary part of the process.
Whine: Still wanting wine. My dog is being a major bitch lately. She only wants to snuggle when H is around and hurts my delicate feelings. I see where the term came from.
Wine: H has been blowing his work goals out of the water so it looks like I get my dream Ikea kitchen in our new house with his bonus check in April. Hoping it comes in in time to snag their current 20% promotion so we don't have to put it on credit (we will have the definite amount weeks before we get the money). Now I just have to figure out that fine line between increasing home value and upgrading beyond the house's potential.
