Saturday - chicken pot pie Sunday - pizza Monday - chicken fajitas Tuesday - lasagna Wednesday - roast chicken/potatoes/carrots Thursday - cream of broccoli soup Friday - "freezer meat" (breaded fish fillet for me, chicken fingers for DS and wings for DH)/fries/salad
I have to plan ahead because grocery shopping with two kids is haaaaard. I also have to make a lot of things from scratch because DH is allergic to gluten which makes cooking a challenge and shopping for alternatives expensive.

I always meal plan based on coupons before I go to the store. I have to make a detailed list and stick to it or my DH tends to overspend on frivolous stuff. Now that I stay at home and shop alone we are spending less! LoL Turkey Chili Chicken Pot Pie Homemade Pizza Italian Roll ups Breaded Pork Chops with Roasted Potatoes and Corn on the Cob We also have a leftovers night and an eat out night, so that's my week!

Chicken cordon bleu Mushroom and Swiss burgers with fries Baked pork chops with apples and stuffing Chicken pot pie Ham and cheese sliders Parmesan chicken manicotti Sausage, asparagus and perogies skillet
My contributions to this would be very boring because DH and I are doing this thing where we eat salad with various proteins and veggies on it each night.
My friend is coming to visit tomorrow and bringing dinner, and we might go to brunch Sunday (Bloody Mary!), so that's the extent of my meal excitement. But it does make cooking easier.
I need to start meal planning. For one I am going to be a SAHM and would make life easier with 2 kids and DS has milk and soy intolerance so need to work around that since I am BF and it's about what I eat and I'm not making 2 different meals.
