What's the last thing you bought for baby?

I recently went on a clothes shopping binge for baby girl because obviously her walk in closet can't look "empty"

I'm pretty much done buying baby clothes at this point. I think if I bring home one more outfit for this baby, my husband will leave me.

So I've moved on to outfitting the nursery now. My recent purchases have been a purple baby blanket, crib sheets, swaddle blankets and gold star wall decals to put behind the crib. My next purchase is going to be an area rug, I just haven't made my final choice yet.

pbubblegum I'm trying to wait until after the shower for finishing touches on the nursery...its so hard to wait! I'm busying myself looking for artwork/prints on Etsy right now:) so in other words, not finished yet and probably won't be until mid May.

I ordered these - she also has hearts, but I didn't see any gold dots. If you just search Etsy for Gold Dot decals you can find a ton!

I think the last things I bought yesterday were my diaper bag and crib skirt from Etsy, there's no good pic of the crib skirt.

I'm waiting to buy more stuff until after my baby shower. Until then (and especially after the most recent posts in the nursery thread on here) I'm just obsessing about nursery stuff but I can't even do that because we still haven't sheetrocked yet. Why doesn't DH feel the time crunch that I do? Only 14 weeks left!!!!

We just got a BabyHawk carrier and a K'tan last month. We don't have to do much this time around. However I've been working on getting things for DS's new room, I hope you don't mind the share. My brother just came over yesterday to help H set the bed up (but he's still sleeping in his crib yet. In fact right now, he's been out for 14.5 hours. Wth?!). Anyway, we made a big deal over it and DS is super proud of it. He even ran in and said good night to it before going to bed.

I am trying sooo hard to wait until after my baby shower to buy anything. A little more than a month left haha. I don't want to try to guess what people will get because I'm not a good guesser and i am admittedly very spoiled by friends and especially family. I have 52 girl cousins and 12 aunts who can't wait to spoil this little girl. Plus my mother and mil already bought half of my registry-I definitely feel very lucky and blessed.

The decal for her wall (again, still in the box)
A stuffed owl that plays music

I think we want to wait until after the shower to purchase things, so we know where to spend our money. Plus, completion discount!

Homegoods a couple weeks ago. A lot of it was on clearance! Pillow and blanket (figured I can use in the glider or to make myself a comfy floor spot), storage baskets and a little towel/washcloth set that I couldn't resist.

I'm hoping to buy an area rug today or tomorrow but DH and I are both very picky (see post in AW nursery thread).

Other recent purchases were nursery-related like a new larger shelf for the top of LO's closet.

After I get this rug down, I need to make some more purchases ASAP. DH is a credit card bill stalker so I need to try to space it out to keep him happy but there isn't much time to space things out left!

I havent bought anything... We are going shopping next weekend with my MIL for the Nursery Furniture, but we arent buying that she is getting that for us... DH bought me a Pregnancy Pillow... Does that count?

I am having the hardest time finding clothes I think look cute. We really thought it was going to be a boy, so I have only been looking at baby girl clothes since we found out. I am so not a fan of pink...

I'm actually having irrational anxiety about this right now. I know in my head that we having a monstrous shower, that our parents/grandparents want to buy big ticket items, and that we are going to get a lot of what we need. However, I'm freaking the fuck out that all we are going to get is a bunch of clothes, blankets, and feeding things that can't be used until 6+ months. And we will have zero of what we need. And then I go into spontaneous early labor before we can get everything else purchased.

I am on the crazy train with you! I am having 2 separate showers and I'm convinced that everyone will just buy cute outfits and not anything we actually need off of the registry. My showers aren't until 4/18 and 4/25, so then I go into freak out mode like "OMG I will only have 2 months to throw everything together, finish the nursery, buy all the things we didn't get". AND that 8 weeks is only if I don't happen to pop early. It is so tempting to just start buying things off of our registry. Must. Have. Self. Control.

I bought a recliner/glider this weekend. Otherwise I have a pregnancy pillow and a diaper bag from when Petunia had the big sale. That's it.

My shower will be May 9, and we're remodeling our kitchen (cabinets come on March 16), so as much as I feel like I'm really behind in getting things, I do not want to add more chaos to the house before the kitchen is done and I know what is being purchased from my registries. So, unless there's a huge sale, I'm not buying anything else until May. Which scares the shit out of me.

The last thing we bought was the crib and the mattress. Oh, and a cup holder, but that was for DH as he was very disappointed our stroller didn't have one for Dad's coffee, lol.

I feel like I am right there with you guys.  We need the Pack n Play and the monitor as the last two higher priced items.  I keep seeing them on sale and am SOOOO tempted to just buy them.  I've been admonished several times by friends and family to stop buying but I am a PLANNER damnit!  I NEED these items to be sitting in the room doing nothing but waiting for baby to come.  I'm totally paranoid that people will ignore the registry because it's all "useful" items and buy me baby clothes I don't need.  (I say don't need because we have 3 friends with girls 3 and under and I have literally TUBS of cute, barely worn clothes already #firstworldproblems)
