Not sure if this worked on original thread Update- they had found some low levels in fluids while testing in nicu so he has to stay a day longer than me. Since he's getting ivs breast feeding has been super sucky (he was always "full" but not, and started a day behind schedule) and sleeping has been really bad (if we r lucky an hour every 3 hrs). With the extra day I'll camp out in a chair for the next 24 hrs... So same stuff then. That's why I haven't posted, hope to catch up when he's eating well and I'm up bf-ing at home :-P 2nd update I may or may not stay in my own room too depending on my blood pressure (probably not all night but at least have a few hours for now)

I'm sorry Rory has to stay another night! Thinking of you all!
Not that I want you to have BP issues to stay too, but it sure would be nice if your Dr could make it so you 'had' to stay another night too so you can be close and not sleeping in a chair! I can't imagine that would be easy on your postpartum body!!
Take care of yourself & I hope you are ALL home soon!
Glad to hear from you. This is tough stuff - I have been there. Sleeping in a chair 3 days pp. I hope you don't have to do that. Thinking of you and of Rory. Please keep us posted when you can. Sending lots of support your way!

It's teaching me to schedule. I would like a private bathroom back and a real bed... Looks like we will be out late tonight if he keeps bf-ing and peeing!
****loss and living child discussed***** We're queer. I'm 34, have severe stage 4 endo, and both fallopian tubes are gone. My love ("Manada" 33) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tav.in and Ca.sey at 21 weeks gestation.
So sorry he is in NICU a bit longer and that BF has been tough. Hang in there! It will get easier and you will get more sleep soon. The first few weeks were the hardest for me but it got a lot better after that. Make sure your wife and family are taking care of you so you can take care of him. Try to get as much sleep as possible and have them help as much as possible so you can sleep.
