Ten Things Tuesday!

I noticed this hadn't been started yet, and I'm in need of some procrastinating.

1. Florida was awesome! The weather was perfect, and I'm jealous of you lucky ladies who call it home.
2. We went to Disneyworld and it was so much fun, even while quite pregnant and hauling around a toddler.
3. DD was only satisfied on the flight home if I was standing in the aisle holding her. So that's what I did. For 4 hours.
4. We went for a 3D ultrasound and baby # 2 is most definitely a girl.
5. I can't believe that I'm approaching the 3rd trimester. Yikes, time... slow it down!
6. DH is out of town for the week and I'm going crazy with boredom.
7. I still haven't made plans for his birthday on the 17th. It's his 30th and I want it to be fun and memorable.. but I'm so lazy these days.
8. I have to bring DD to my OB appointment tomorrow... I hate doing that, it's usually such a long wait and she gets so restless.
9. I invited a friend over for dinner tonight so that I'd have an excuse to make a yummy meal. I normally live off of the basics when DH is out of town.
10. DD will be 18 months next week! When did our babies become one and a half year olds?!?!?

1. I ate spinach artichoke dip for lunch from Chili's and since then I've been seriously fighting to stay awake at work.
2. Congrats sugarkissed on another girl! My anatomy scan is 2 weeks from tomorrow!
3. Dh went to the grocery store for me today! Yay!
4. I bought a swing and bouncer for LO2 this weekend at a consignment sale. I bought both for less than $100 and they're in great condition! With DD I had used my SIL's loaned baby items which she has not offered this time.
5. I seriously need the nesting bug to set in so I can get our closets organized! They're driving me crazy and I have big plans but so far have not executed a single one.
6. Dh has some big idea for mothers day but won't tell me. He has however mentioned multiple times that it'll be awesome and he can't wait. It's driving me nuts!
7. I'm completely caught up at work for the first time since DD was born! It's all thanks to my impending 2nd maternity leave. Bossman hired us an assistant and she has caught me up fast!
8. Assistant is great, but she works my nerves. VERY chatty ALL day..
9. A coworker of mine has a little girl about to be 2. Last week marked the 1 year mark of her little girl falling out of the highchair at daycare and suffering a traumatic brain injury. It was HORRIBLE. The little girl is doing amazingly well now with very little delay. She's developing great! Coworker has been posting pictures on FB from her time in the hospital and it makes me tear up everytime! I just can't see that without seeing my own baby in that situation!
10. DH has been off work since Friday and doesn't go back until this Saturday! I'm so jealous.

1) I am so sick of winter!
2) DD hasn't been eating much at all lately, I'm not sure what's up.
3) H is finally off of third shift, but second is not a whole lot better.
4) I feel like I'm gaining weight quicker this pregnancy and I'm
kind of upset about it. I was going to keep my weight gain on the lower side.
5) My zoo has a new aquarium opening this month...yay!
6) DH and I found the perfect house this past weekend, except for one thing...it doesn't have much land (.4 acres) which might be a deal breaker.
7) I've been bored out of my mind lately.
8) Started picking up a few clothing things for baby boy
9) My birthday is next weekend, and DH ordered me a cake from my favourite bakery!!! I've been dreaming about it, lol.
10) I miss flowers and green grass and spring! I think I need too relocate :/

carli- so happy to hear that LO is doing well. What a scary, freak accident.

1. We are supposed to get to 36 degrees tomorrow- first time above freezing since January!

2. DH has been on our roof shoveling, putting down Ice melt and chipping out pathways for the melting snow since we have a ton.

3. It's going to freeze up again Thursday and he's worried we will have another ice dam like last year. Really hope that doesn't happen!

4. My MIL and her drive-by visits need to stop asap. I'm getting sick of coming straight home from work to relieve DH and see her car in the driveway. If I got a little heads up she was coming I would stop and run some errands knowing the DH could work on his to-do list while she's there. (DH picks up the kiddo and is often home 1.5-2hrs before I get home)

5. DHs to do list includes all shoveling, preventing Ice dams, walking the dog (too icy for me- already fell twice), and fixing the closet in the nursery before DD2 and then assembling her furniture. Poor DH has a huge honey-do list lately.

6. We still have no name for DD2- current list: Zoe, Elena, Cadence and Charlotte. I'm sure it will change tomorrow.

7. I hope when I go into labor with DD2 I can take her to the babysitters house instead of MILs so that the whole family doesn't know I'm in labor. Last time I called my mom only beforehand and it was great to not have external pressure.

8. Work has been better this week- I think my running countdown of days until maternity leave is helping lol

9. We are almost caught up with the walking dead- so good!

10. DDs new words this week: Apple, noodle and choo choo. New sign language: thank you and help. Crazy how fast they pick up on things!

1) Congrats sugarkissed, on Baby Girl #2! We are hoping for a 2nd girl when we start trying
2) I had to log on to my desktop so I could tag! Thats the only thing I don't like about using the mobile site. I can't see anyones name to spell them correctly when posting - I like the quick tag feature
3) We ordered DD one of those 3 in 1 trikes - its should be here by the end of the week!
4) DD is obssesed with bubbles! We got a bubble gun when we were in Downtown Disney and it's a scene when it's time to go back inside
5) I am almost done reading Divergent It's my first book since DD was born! woo hoo
6) I am going to try the mexican chicken recipe tomorrow that some of you mentioned in the crock pot thread a few weeks ago
7) My moms birthday is tomorrow. I really need to do a paint craft with DD for it
8) I think we have 2 play dates this weekend
9) I am pretty much prepared for DD's easter this year I got a cute basket (we didn't last year), got plastic eggs for the hunt (so excited about this. we never did this growing up) and ordered some Frozen board books for her. Just need some other basket stuffers and I'm done! No chocolate for her this year - or peeps!
10) I've had a $100 GC to Victoria's Secret since Christmas and I have yet to spend it.

1. A snowday on Monday. No snow. It was all ice. I think thatbwas the last snow day.

2. More snow for Thursday. Another day off?

3. I am ready for the school year to be over. I am not happy at the school where I am teaching. I am not the only one. This school was my way into the county. Since I started after the school year started. I can't transfer yet. Need to wait another year.

4. I have been drinking too much wine. Just a glass. See above.

5. Today is Girl's Day in Japan. Happy Girl's Day!

6. Sorry people, but I want it to snow.

7. DS loves Elmo. DS likes to "FaceTime" with Elmo.

8. Why does DS hate the car seat!?

9. DS will eat just about anything at my ILs but just pushes it away at home. Sometimes it's the same thing. Leftovers. My MIL must have some kind of magic.
