kamakaziartist. I loveeeee your kids names. Especially your older dd. I wish I had thought of it.
Now I'm curious your other kids names! Evangeline is really pretty and I remember really liking your other daughters name when you showed her birthday cake! You have unique and good taste!
I should also add that I don't think a lot of people love my son's name, so people may be assuming they'd hate me
What is your son's name?
I know a lot of people don't like Atticus. Doesn't phase me, because it's a name I didn't make up and we weren't creative with the spelling.
Clark, I know a lot of people aren't fans of the whole last name for a first name thing or think his name is boring. I like Atticus. Do you call him a nickname at all?

Not everyone is going to like every other person's kids names. Otherwise, all of our children would have the same name. Especially if you choose a different name, you definitely assume the risk that it won't be some people's style. That's ok.

Oh, trust me. I know. I don't really care if people like my kids name, I just really like hearing other peoples kids names and why they chose them and such. I'm always on the lookout for new names

We call him Dude and Moose, mostly. At DC the kids and some teachers call him Attie. I don't love that, but whatever, when he gets older he can correct them if he doesn't like it.
His MN is James, because we know Atticus is kind of colorful and if it's a little too weird for him, he can go by that or A.J.
My name is simple....Lisa.. .... So I don't get misspelled or pronounced, but I get so annoyed when people call me Mona Lisa. It happens a lot. People think they are being funny or original but they aren't, they are just being annoying. Lol. My FIL is the worst for doing this. When he introduces me to people he says "and this is our Mona Lisa with her beautiful smile". I know he has good intentions but it's like nails on a chalkboard to me.
I've been called Hannah Banana my whole life. This includes some asses in my professional life.
I had a faculty call pronounce my name the way she pronounces her daughter's name (Hännah) after is said 'it's just Hannah'. It's minor, I know, but I corrected her and she just disregarded me.

Don't get me wrong it's cute for a little girl but when I hit my teens it kind of got annoying. As an adult, it's not the greatest because it's something you call a child. People think their being clever when they do it and that's what's annoying.
I did give props of originality to a former co-worker that called me Hannah Cabana.
Someone explain, there is more than one way to pronounce Hannah? I keep rereading that and it's the same each time.
It's how you pronounce the first 'a'. This maybe hard for me to describe, I pronounce mine like you would use when you say Apple or can. The other way is can be a soft 'breathy' a/long 'a', kind of like when you say ahh for the doc.
