1) definitely trust, sense of humor, and reliability. Knowing that friend will be there if you need them.
2) I'm not sure about funniest, but apparently I was able to climb out of my car seat when I was about 1 ( maybe a little older). My mother has been reminding me of this lately since C seems to be a bit of a climber herself. Thankfully, car seats are better these days.
3) I'm generally not a neat freak, so I'm not very qualified to give advice. However, one of the things that helps me is always doing a little bit of cleaning each night. Even just 30 minutes. I tend to get overwhelmed and not want to do any, but then things just pile up and get worse. So I have to do a little each day.
1. What one thing do you look for in a friend? A sense of self. I love surrounding myself with people who are comofortable in their skin. Comfortable enough to disagee with me and know it's not the start of a fight or end of our relationship. Someone who knows what they like and don't, who enjoys their own sense of humour etc. Being genuine is something you can try to fake, but real genuine people are gold in my book.
2. What's the funniest thing you did as a kid that your parents (or family) still talk about to this day? I technically didn't do it, but when I was 3 my brother hit me in the face with a baseball bat. Broke my nose. Was entirely my fault (stood behind him while he was batting after being told REPEATEDLY not to), and I had my nose fixed at 17... but still something we laugh about
3. Your best cleaning or organization tip is.... Tupperware and labels. My craft space is a WALL of bins labelled. I'm not a clean person, but I'm an organized person. If something HAS a spot, I'll put it there. It's my best suggestion for keeping things clean
1. Mainly just a really good sense of humour. 2. When I was only about 18 months old, I was convinced I could swim. My dad kept telling me that I couldn't (which was true) but apparently I just went into the water and started properly swimming. My mum still thinks this is hilarious, especially since I couldn't swim again until I was at least three. 3. Do one thing at a time. I tend to start a lot of things when I decide I want to clean, and end up only half-finishing everything.
1. What one thing do you look for in a friend? Kindness followed by a sense of humour followed by a love of games.
2. What's the funniest thing you did as a kid that your parents (or family) still talk about to this day? When I was about 10 or 12 we were at a big family reunion and there was a talent show. I raised my hand to participate and went up to play the piano. I had been taking piano at school, but I pretty much sucked at it. So I decided to just improvise a piece. I was surprisingly good and my mom and aunt where in the back of the audience laughing their heads off because they knew that I had no idea what I was doing. Afterwards, a few people told them that they'd assumed that their laughter was because it was actually a recorded piece and I was fake playing! I have never ever been able to come close to playing like that since then. Also, I'm now too self conscious to try something like that.
3. Your best cleaning or organization tip is.... Oh man! This is not my strong suit. I guess for me having an audio book playing really helps to pass the time and make it a more enjoyable activity.
****loss and living child discussed***** We're queer. I'm 34, have severe stage 4 endo, and both fallopian tubes are gone. My love ("Manada" 33) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tav.in and Ca.sey at 21 weeks gestation.
2. One summer when I was maybe in middle school my dad and I had an ongoing water fight. Like rigging things up around the house/yard to get each other. My friend and I took fishing line and rigged it so that when he opened the screen door on the porch it turned on the sprayer on the hose that was tied on to the porch railing to get him. It is kind of weird cuz we don't really tell stories of the past in my family. Whereas my wife's family tells the same stories over and over and over and over again. And tells them to me like I'm new and haven't heard them before.
3. What is cleaning? I just hide things so my wife won't find them and get mad at me.
1. What one thing do you look for in a friend? Trust. If I can't trust you then I don't consider you more than an acquaintance.
2. What's the funniest thing you did as a kid that your parents (or family) still talk about to this day? I was the definition of a rebellious teenager. When I was 16 (and only in that foster home for 5 months) my best friend and I got into my foster parents' liquor stash. It ended badly with us being escorted home by the sherif and me puking in the backseat of his cruiser. My foster parents still joke about it and even the thought of butterscotch rum today makes me nauseous. I was lucky that they didn't call my social worker and move me to a different home.
3. Your best cleaning or organization tip is.... My house constantly looks like a tornado hit with a toddler running around lol. I agree with what everyone said though. Make a designated space for everything and *try* to keep it in that space when it's not in use. Also, doing just a few things everyday so you don't get overwhelmed.
1. What one thing do you look for in a friend? Hands down integrity is the number one thing I looks for in a friend.
2. What's the funniest thing you did as a kid that your parents (or family) still talk about to this day? I decided I wanted to be scientist so I went around the house mixing together whatever I could find. Well, I the spilled it on my bedroom floor and it bleached about a foot long section of carpet. Instead of fessing up I covered it with an area rug and my parents didn't find out for a solid week.
3. Your best cleaning or organization tip is.... Do it often and maintain, otherwise it gets out of control and overwhelming.

1. Somebody who will kick my butt or challenge me if I am being stubborn and tell me like it is.
2. When writing thank you cards, I wrote in a card to a family member that they were very oriental....I meant original. (Side note: I make DS write thank you cards...I think it's becoming a lost art and that makes me sad.
3. Have a cleaning dance party...I try to listen to music and make it funny.
1. I just want people who click, you know? I guess that means: sense of humor, good conversationalist, empathetic.
2. Apparently, I was once asked what my favorite color was, and I replied "Oh, I like any color... As long as it's purple."
3. Ummm. I'm not licensed to give out tips in this area. The best I can manage is have a spot for the really important stuff and make sure that's where the really important stuff goes.
1. What one thing do you look for in a friend? Sense of humor and honesty
2. What's the funniest thing you did as a kid that your parents (or family) still talk about to this day? After our house was built, there was a ditch area on the side from where they dug down for the basement that had not been filled in. We had a CRAZY storm and it was filled probably 3 ft deep with water (read mud!) It was a hot summer day, and my new friends thought that I should go into this lovely swimming pool, to which I obliged. I was wearing a white outfit that quickly was hidden from my mother after I was done. I think I might have made it a week before she found out.
3. Your best cleaning or organization tip is.... Take a moment and put it away, then it won't stack up later.
