Heartburn that woke me up at 5:30. I forgot to take my damn prescription yesterday and had Taco Bell for diner last night.. I am stupid. Don't know why it waited until this morning to show up though.. And as always lots of Braxton hicks.. Ugh.
Started feeling the head congestion coming on yesterday, woke up this morning with a miserably sore throat and my head feels like it is going to explode. Damn this weather--you can't go from 25 F with low humidity to 70 F and 97% humidity in one day. It just shouldn't be possible. My body hates the south sometimes.
Ugh! Same here. It's so nasty and humid outside.
As far as symptoms go, just some killer leg cramps. Apparently I stretch on reflex in my sleep, so I wake up around 3am with some seriously painful charlie horses. I feel bad for MH because I always end up whacking him in my struggle to get up to stretch it out.
Got the results from my 1 hour glucose test...guess who gets to go back and take the 3 hour now...yay!! Also back during my first trimester I told my OB that my Iron Pills (I take extra supplements because I am EXTREMELY anemic) were making me morning sickness even worse.. She told me to stop taking them because the prenatal that I was on had enough...well when the doctor called me yesterday to tell me about failing the 1 hour test, that my Iron levels had dropped. So now I am back on 400 mg of iron (200 mg twice a day) and it explains why I have been so tired recently... here is to hoping that between the 1 cup of coffee i have a day (its breakfast blend so its even lighter in caffeine) and the added iron will give me more energy to just function. DH doesnt understand the sheer exhaustion that I have from being pregnant, he thinks I can just suck it up and go about my day!
Ditto on the crazy southern warm front going through today, with a cold rainy front moving in tonight. This explains my groggy and headachey self today. However, I fully plan on taking advantage of the warm day by opening all the windows and playing outside with DD as soon as it hits the 60's.
We were supposed to go hang out with my mom and nephew today, but he has a runny nose, so we're staying away just in case. So I'm also grumpy about that today.
I have a terrible breakout from my unyielding boob sweat. Since I switched to nothing but genie bras (months ago) I have been wearing them around the clock, which probably isn't helping. Trying to live my life bra free while I am home, which ain't pretty!
Baby girl was kicking up a storm yesterday. She got me so hard while I was standing up that I almost peed everywhere. Last night I also saw kicks for the first time, CREEPY! I was reading and she was bouncing my book up and down, lol.
I had two bowls of cereal this morning, is that a symptom?

I had the worst leg cramp last night!! I could literally feel it moving along my muscle. The agony was intense but apparently my H had no idea I was flailing around the bed last night, so there's that I guess?
Also, on a TMI note, I've been kind of stuffy lately (still breathing out of my nose, just blowing it a lot) and then when I was running around getting ready for work this morning snot literally dropped out of my nose and allllll down my shirt before I even knew what was happening. Pregnancy=glamorous. The end.
According to my due date (even though in my head I count from conception because dammit I know exactly when I ovulated!) I'm just about 25 weeks pregnant. Why baby, why? Why do you make me throw up still? Why did it only start second trimester? Why can't I brush my teeth in peace?
I pooped! After only three trips to the bathroom at work to try, and a potentially embarrassing incident of dropping my phone (which I brought in with me to distract myself) and having it bounce under to the neighboring stall. Which was thankfully empty.
Otherwise, mostly just feeling smushed, having to pee, heartburn, the usual.

I'm also get calf Charley horses in the middle of the night... maybe 4 or 5 so far but they are becoming more frequent - they hurt like a MF'er during and ache for a day afterwards argh!
Finally pulled the trigger to start daily Zantac for heartburn prevention... hope it keeps it at bay.
Can't sleep... haven't slept soundly in 3 days. Part of this is the congestion. I hate mouth breathing! It gets so dry and uncomfortable... Lack of sleep has lead to: sore eyes, headache, general overall short temperedness with co-workers (ie. Brother and Dad lol)
Little ninja has moved way up. I usually feel him down low but this morning he's doing the Macarena a good two inches above my belly button.
Yesterday I had a reprieve from the nausea and puking and actually had an appetite and ate well. But this morning it's back again. I've had a bowl of cereal to eat, so far, and am now struggling to keep it down. Why why why is 2nd half MS such a thing for me? I was promised every pregnancy is different. Bullshit.

Sounds exactly like my appointment and test results. Here's hoping we both pass the 3 hour test. And I totally feel your pain on the iron pills... so sick, so so sick.
Heartburn, heartburn heartburn! Baby has been having a ball wiggling around today, too. Which is good bc DS1 is down with a fever, so I had to cancel my 24w/GTT appt today. They'll be at 26w now. :/
So, keeping on with the OTC zantac and the tums until then. eek.

Same test results for me! Doctor said I need more iron and my 1-hour glucose was slightly above normal. I just did my 3-hour yesterday. It was not fun, but my results all came back normal this time. Good luck ladies!
My heartburn has gone away! I don't know if baby has just changed positions or what, but it started lessening on Wednesday last week and I haven't had any heartburn in a few days. I'm also trying to eat healthier after weighing in +22lbs so maybe that has something to do with it? Probably not, I don't know.
Not sure if it's me running around at work for 8 hours at a time but I've been feeling really sore around my ribs, like pressure, during my shifts. Halfway through the day at work I feel crazy sore/stiff all over but I don't know if the rib thing is baby, uterus, or just all that stuff pushing everything else up and out of the way. Either way it's almost hard to breath because of the pressure. I thought it was too early (26 weeks) for there to be that much crowding around my ribs. Anyone else feeling this?

Try eating a banana before bed, or something else high in potassium. I swear it works! I had Charley horses so bad with DS, I had been getting them nightly around 25 weeks and a friend told me this trick. I didn't get any more the rest of my pregnancy!
ThePalindromicOne or try coconut water (if you like it). I've been drinking coconut water regularly and it has helped BIG TIME with the charley horses.
Super itchy skin! It's so uncomfortable and irritating. I have tried coconut oil, baby lotion, oatmeal cream, Nivea and oatmeal baths and nothing seems to work. Any one have any tips or tricks?
You should look up argan oil. That stuff is amazing!! I use it for everything now and no more itchies! And it's the only oil for stretch marks that is not greasy!!
Weirdly queasy for the first time in a while... Almost couldn't get my prenatal down. Of course, the thing is huge and smells fishy... Other than that, and the tendency to cry at the drop of a hat, I've been feeling okay.

Ive been using Eucerin Intensive Repair Extra- Enriched Hand Creme. It has worked wonders!!
There's this weird place right under and to the side of my ribcage in the right, underneath my breast, that aka teenaged between stinging with incredible pain, and completely numb. Peanut is my kicking that high up yet so I can only assume it has tondo with nerve compression. I see my doc today so I ask her.
Also tired. So very, very tired. Worse than in my first trimester.
On a positive note, I definitely don't have GD. Did my gtt yesterday and walked out of there after 2 hours with a lower blood sugar than when I walked in. Blood sugar never went above 84.

I have said this before and I will say it again... I swear by Aveeno Skin Relief Shower and Bath Oil. Even without lotion it has helped my skin tremendously. A few other J15 moms have picked it up after I raved about it and love it as well.
QFT!! I use it every day now and it has done wonders!! If I skip one day, it's ok but miss two days and the itch comes back.

I am still having the slightly concerning symptoms I mentioned on Monday, but they are so mild that I could be imagining some of them. I have a prenatal appt today, and I am both glad and nervous to tell them about my symptoms... Other than that, no heart burn for a few days, so who knows why that is, but I'll take it!

Try Neutrogena light sesame oil. I put it on right after my shower and it has cured the itchiness and leaves my skin feeling so soft - despite the horrible New England weather!

Anyone have a weird rash like line underneath their boobs? I do. Dr. Google says it is either a rash due to my growing boobs, fungal infection from sweat or a sign of an aggressive breast cancer. It doesn't itch so I am not sure what to make of it.
I have an appointment on Friday so I will have OB check it out.

I've had that for quite a while now. I thought it was because I switched bras when the ladies started getting bigger and it's just boob sweat/ moisture. It was a lot worse like 2 months ago but better now that I'm aware of what's going on and trying to make sure it gets some airflow.
