Thanks for asking it was going to be Friday, but I am holding off for a bit. So she was snoring way bad, and getting headaches. I go in he said she has a deviated septum that can't be fixed till she is older. Her tonsils were OK, and she hardly ever gets sore throats. He said her adenoid might be big, and since she was skinny that was probably the case (being overweight can cause snoring, but they ruled that out). They were going to take both adenoids and tonsils out though since that is the protocol. So I schedule surgery and she stops snoring, she was snoring WAY bad, then it just stopped. So we think well maybe we will go ahead since it must be a sick related thing, and she snore badly and sleeps badly anytime she gets sick, and the ENT said she won't out grow it. As it gets closer though I am checking nightly to see if she is breathing through her nose and she is. So I call in and they say they might want to try a sleep study first. So for the time being she the surgery is canceled, which is a relief because I was kind of a nervous mess!!!
FML looks like I am calling back and saying let's do it. She threw up 2 am, so she laid down in my room to not wake the baby. Wouldn't you know it horrible snoring again the day I canceled, damn it. H went and slept in the couch. Mean while it is 4 am, and I can't sleep. Oh well H said they wouldn't do it with her sick anyways so it would have been put off either way. Can I just say being a parent really sucks sometimes. First I was worried about her getting poor sleep from snoring, then worried about her getting painful surgery when not needed, now I am back to WTF did I do canceling. The doctor is going to think I am a neurotic nut job... which I am!

Not a nutjob, just a mom who wants to make the best decision for her kid. Take a deep breath. You'll get it figured out. Hope she feels better really soon.
