Daycare just called...cancelled due to Snow! I'm so happy that I don't have to make the decision myself and get shit at work for not coming in. If daycare closes I have no choice. Woohoo! How is everyone else's morning going?
Good morning! We are packing up the car and headed to see my family. I can't wait to hold a tiny newborn! V despises the car and it's an 8 hour drive... I'm scared.
Yes tjhine, I want to use today to get stuff done too. I have a before baby to-do list (of basic things I should have organized earlier, totally non baby related) that is pretty much untouched.
@elvk583 I do not envy you. We have an 8 hour drive in April and I'm dreading it. Snacks and toys. Snacks. And. Toys.
We have a busy day and I won't be around for the next couple. My MIL will be in town. I need to hit the gym, grocery store, pick up around here, and drive the hour to the airport to get her. DH has helped with exactly nothing (he's currently on my shit list and he knows it).
Morning everyone. Layla woke up an hour early in a bad mood. I dropped her off at daycare early and I'm currently sitting in my car taking a few minutes to myself. @elvk583 I hoe you have safe travels. finnaroo I hope you enjoy your visit from MIL, and that DH starts helping out.
Snowing here, too. Sigh. Everyone was driving like assholes this morning. A trash truck driver flipped me off because I dared to be driving on the same road he was and he didn't feel like moving over (he was driving across both lanes).
Evan slept like shit last night. That's what I get for saying he slept well the day before.
When I dropped him at daycare this morning a little girl called out, "Evan! Hugs!", and then ran over to give him hugs. I died of cuteness.
Can someone call and pretend to be from my DHs work with an emergency? He decided to stay home, it's 9am, he's in a bad mood and driving me CRAZY already.

It's snowing here and we are supposed to get at least 7" over the day. So, I will probably leave early and get stuck in a clusterf*ck of traffic.
I dropped my keys in between my seat and console on my way to work and they were lodged in there pretty good. I ended up gashing my thumb getting them out.
Last night DH and I had an impromptu DTD session and it was great! We need to do that more often. Yeah.
Good morning all! Sorry I've been MIA, life has just been busy. I'm trying to adjust to my new schedule and well, it's different. Hope everyone is doing well and this next round of snow is kind. I have no other big stuff to talk about really. C has made it without his wubbanub at daycare this week. Now to just get rid of it at home. And the bottle. And nursing.
Probably a post and run so I can fall back asleep for a bit.
I have been a bit busy so except for the obvious t&p posts, I haven't been checking in here. Sorry my dears!
I hope anyone who needed my thoughts and good vibes felt them, as even though I wasn't actually checking in here and reading much, I did think of you all frequently!
I had to deal with the loss of my bffs grandma. I've known my bff since we were 5, so losing her Nana felt like losing mine. She went so quick once the test results all came back That it was stage 4 lung cancer. I'm just glad she's not in pain. But we miss her.
On top of that, it was my hubs birthday. He turns it into a week thing ... ok, I help with that. For those on ig and Facebook, you saw I started my nightmare before Christmas half sleeve. I sat well for 2 hours. K was insanely jealous. He doesn't take tattoo pain halfway as good as me. Lol.
And as for Ava. She's been a bit of a beast. When she throws her tantrums, she really throws them. :/ I think it's because her final molar is popping through finally. But it could just be that toddler life.
Oh, I've been streaming 16 & pregnant on mtv. I told k it makes me miss the newborn stage. I went back through my belly pics and miss that, too. I think k may want to try soon because he brought up missing my belly and then just yesterday was asking when we were going to start. Yay! But holy crap, too.
Eta: I'll probably post in the group soon. My baby sis is going through some stuff and in my end I dint know how to help.

Pouring snow here. We're supposed to get six inches today. My H got a flat from a pothole last night. I can't complain that much, I'll be in the sun in two days.
I have to start packing today because I have a ton of stuff to get done before our trip. I'm already getting cabin fever and wondering if I should sneak over to the gym this afternoon.

Hey yall. Just got back from E's ent appointment. We are getting tubes. I'm so excited. Seriously. I hope this is the fix it for my sweet baby.
The ent was all like, let me tell you all the advantages yadda yadda. I said, newp, don't need to know. I'm on an online forum and I know all about these from my online friends!
Nope. He hasn't picked up the new car yet. He has a deposit down and is picking it up after vacation.
So he gets a flat last night and for some reason my wrench and his wont fit on his lug nuts. So he had to drive it to a car place, about a mile down the road, with a flat, in this snowstorm this morning. I was begging him just to call a tow truck but "it's fiiiiine." He made it to the car place though.
Good luck traveling, @elvk583. We haven't done a trip that long so I've got not helpful ideas.
mamasoup030 - And that is why I hate working from home! DH works from home 95% of the time and he gets super chatty when I end up there, too. I always want to yell at him to leave me alone, haha.
It's snowing again so my office is half empty. I could have worked from home (and may regret coming in) but I've got a hair appointment tonight that I cannot miss. I'm a good month overdue for a trim and I'm a scraggly mess. I also need to start considering coloring my hair, since I'm starting to get a few grays right up front. Boo!!
Oh and I got called a nasty name on my run this morning by some jerk driving by. I could understand THINKING I was being risky if the roads were bad at the time or if there were a lot of cars on the road to dodge, but actually putting your window down to swear at me? Besides, there was only about 1/2 inch of snow and I barely see any cars before 6am. I stay in the shoulder and wear lights so I can be seen - it's not like he had to swerve to avoid hitting me. I live in such a quiet town that it really took me by surprise, then I started giggling and couldn't stop until I started cramping.
OH and I had a dream that I just had a new baby girl and was freaking out because I'd forgotten that newborns don't eat solid food and rely on milk. I was totally surprised for some reason, and kind of horrified.
Can someone call and pretend to be from my DHs work with an emergency? He decided to stay home, it's 9am, he's in a bad mood and driving me CRAZY already.
Mara is still waking up a bunch at night. Since the pedi told us yesterday her ears were fine, I'm assuming it's her molar. One molar. The same one she's been working on for almost 2 months now. WTF molar? You're killing me.
I'm going to be that lucky mom that has these fuckers come in one at a time, aren't I?
<insert Adam Sandler song: "Somebody kill me please" from Wedding Singer here>
This was us. All 4 came in the space of 2 weeks. Does the liquor store deliver? I'd look into that.

East Coasters!!!I am telling you the warmth is coming!!! I PROMISE!!!
It's the last cold day here today... tomorrow the high is 53*. I. LITERALLY. CANNOT. WAIT.
Not much here besides that, But I will send the warmth to you all!
Tonight my mom, sister and I are going to a movie called The Drop Box. It's a documentary about a South Korean Pastor who created a drop box for unwanted babies. It hits home for me becuase my siblings are adopted from S. Korea. I am really looking forward to it!
Today is going to be a good day ladies! I can feel it!
And I miss the newborn stage too, so much! That is probably a UO but I really loved it. MH did not enjoy it though, he is anxious to have another one ASAP so he can get through it and be done with it.
