It's 7am here and no one has posted a randoms thread yet? I'm very disappointed! I know we have kids and husbands and pets to care for, but seriously get your priorities straight and start posting!
Z has an appt to get her second HepB shot this morning. Daddy isn't coming with so mommy has to try and not have a break down after she starts crying. As long as she doesn't do the "you don't love me, barely breathing stutter cry with the shaky bottom lip" I should be good. We'll see.
I caved in and co slept last night so I could get some rest. It paid off because LO slept from 10 till 6! And even better when I got up he wasn't fussy hungry he was all smiles
Eta because auto correct is not my friend this morning
Holy crap my baby slept from 9:30-6:30 when I had to get her up so I can take her to daycare and go to work!!! I got uninterrupted sleep! This daycare thing is wearing LO out
Today is LO's 2 month appointment. I'm just assuming today will be rough. Not looking forward to it.
Last night I nursed mostly on my right side without thinking about it. I put LO to bed after nursing her and pumped, only to find that I'd earned myself a plugged duct. Owwwww. I massaged the hell out of it this morning and she's eating right now, and I think we fixed it.
My LO must be the hungriest baby on earth. She was cluster feeding last night and finally I said enough, dh was gonna give her a bottle of bm. I heated up four ounces thinking that was more than enough. Apparently she ate all of that and then needed 2 ounces of formula soon after! Wth! That seems crazy for a 5 week old. But at least I get to sleep through the madness to start.
@bkmama where did you find Tea clothing? Our babe is long but skinny so stuff is hanging off her!

Glad we have some other sleepers joining the party! I was starting to feel like an ass for saying my baby STTN I actually have nothing that needs to get done today, so I am totally planning on being lazy! (Maybe I will meal plan on Pinterest so I can say I did something productive to DH...)
Last night was not nearly as bad as I was expecting. Owen let out a huge burp, from the depths, and was back to himself. He slept 9-330 and then until 630. It's snowing, again. Next week it's supposed to hit 50, I can't wait for walks! My MIL is coming to visit next week for three weeks. We have had a sketchy relationship in the past...fx it's better this time.
DH kept the dictator up all day yesterday and predictably he woke up three or four times in the motn. I told DH to not try to keep him up anymore. The second I got home from work yesterday and picked lo up, he fell asleep in my arms. Poor kid was exhausted.

DS is at preschool again today. LO and I got to sleep in. No plans for today, so I think it will be a day to clean our house which has become far too gross after the past eight weeks!
We also have the two month check up and I'm not looking forward to the shots . Someone in my local mommy group suggested asking 2 nurses to come in so they can administer all the shots at once and get it over with, so I'll try that. Ugh.
I'm going to be totally random. I've been watching The Gilmore Girls while I nurse. I really don't like Rory. She's such a goody two shoes and they've made her character way too precious. I like her mom though,, so I keep watching.
I changed so many poopy diapers last night that I forgot which side to nurse on and ended up with one big boob in the morning. I also had trouble sleeping due to pain, so got up 30 min ago to take ibuprofen and the eat a granola bar. Now I'm exhausted and still hurting and can't get up to check those watery sounding toots from Lo...
DH is back to work today so it's my first day home alone with Aylah. I want to do something today but idk what. A walk in the park or on the beach or at the mall. Or we could just snuggle. Decisions decisions. Lol

I didn't really like either Rory or Lorelei, although I preferred Lorelei. I actually felt bad for her parents a lot of the show (although they certainly had their terrible moments).
Have you watched Parenthood? It is sooooo good and also has Lauren Graham (Lorelei). I liked it way more than GG, mostly because I liked the characters a lot more.
Night 3 of 7 hours of sleep. He wake up just a tiny fussy at some point but I put the binky back in and he was out again. I'm pretty excited and really hoping he keeps this up!
LO was fighting sleep and so fussy yesterday, she slept from 9-6:30 last night! My boobs were rock solid and sore this morning, but she finally slept! I don't know why she fights naps so much, she gets so cranky when she's tired. So much like her daddy. In other news, I put my belly button ring in yesterday. I'm surprised it didn't close up after being absent for 7 months. I'm using it as motivation to start working out and taking better care of myself.

You can order from the website m.teacollection.com/ although it's pretty pricey my one Tea item is a hand me down from a friend.
My baby eats like your baby btw! 4 oz is never enough.
Those dang rompers are so cute! I've been trying to be strong regarding spring clothes. I don't know how long my resistance will last considering its going to be in the 60's next week that'll inspire me
Z did great getting her shot! She gave me the nastiest stink eye ever then cried for like 10 seconds lol. Once she got a binki and was held close she was fine Mommy is very happy about that! H is off today so hopefully I can convince him to do something productive. I doubt it, but it's worth a shot!
Count me in with baby slept 9:30-6:30 crowd! I actually tried waking him up to eat put the boob right in his mouth but he didn't bite. I could feel my boob getting hard and didn't want to leak all over the bed. I may have to pump motn out of necessity.
I am back at work and was walking to the lactation room, and another manager in my group and our director were walking behind me.
My director asked where I was headed. I was going to pump - so I said, "Well, uh..." And he was like, "You don't want to say?" So I said it, and then they both felt super awkward.
Why do I have to be so socially incompetent?! I'm sure I could have said something else, but I didn't want him to think I was dodging work or something.
Liam is 6 weeks tomorrow. I just ordered his birth announcements and prints from his newborn shoot. Major slacker!
I think my guy is 2 days older than yours, and I was just thinking that I need to order these things. Oops! DS1 is 27 months, and I still haven't made prints of his newborn photos either. One of these days!

Yeah, I still haven't made a baby book for Owen. The only pictures I have off him printed are his newborn professional ones. I've never printed any other picture of him. I've been thinking I need to make both of their baby books and start scrapbooking again. My other kids baby books haven't been updated in like.....8 years. At least I made their book, and added a few pages of pictures in them!

For the ones with LOs who are STTN now, DS has been doing it for two weeks now and my body has just now figured out that I don't need as much milk overnight. I was NOT going to wake up to pump! This morning was the first time I haven't woken up drenched. Sometimes I pump in the morning on the side LO doesn't eat on, but sometimes I don't have time. My supply seems to be fine, so I don't worry about it!

^This. Your body will figure it out. You'll still have milk in the morning and your LO will get a hearty breakfast. You'll have a hungrier baby during the day (since they're not nursing at night), and your body will compensate. Get some sleep ladies!
