Similar to how the weekly meal plan helps keep me motivated I just thought I would start this to post any goals we may have for the week! I find that it helps keep me accountable if I make it known what mine are.
TTC: 2/14 DX: w/PCOS:6/14 1st round of letrozole: 9/14- bust 2nd round of letrozole: 10/14- thought it was a bust BFP: 11/7/14 Discovered baby B (twins) 12/1/14
My goal is to actually be productive on my day off tomorrow. I'm sending ds to daycare to keep him on a schedule and spending the day cleaning and entering grades. I'm hoping if I do something to break it up, like clean for two hours, do school work for two hours, repeat, then I'll get stuff done. My house is a disaster and I am super behind on grades, so both need to happen!!
My main goal for tomorrow is to bake cupcakes. I was planning on doing that today, but I forgot. After I eat a cupcake I will sit down and figure out my plans for the rest of the week.
I made a deal with DH that I would meal plan and make a shopping list if he made brownies. I have had a brownie and now there's a shopping list made. Everyone's happy.
Eta - oh yeah, goals for the week:
1 - Go to work everyday. Arrive by 9am at the latest.

Big week for me!!!! Goals:
Decide where to move!!!! DH is meeting with the last of his new potential employers, and I'm hoping to hear back about changes in my current position...so our goal is to figure out which way we want to go...lots of negotiating and decision making, which is stressful but at least the outcome will be having some aspect of my life not in limbo!
Also, get to bed on time and up early enough for breakfast...not my usual cheat of getting room service delivered, eat in bed, and sleep extra, but actually get up and moving well before I have to leave for my meetings. And drink enough water/log all my food so I have an accurate count for the doctors visit next week.
1. Get caught up on grading. Grade something every night. 2. Stay on top of my graduate class. 3. Have sex with DH. (We have both been sick and I think he is finally on the mend.)
- Take a bump picture - Finish papers that I owe for last semester - Work on research project that is due at the end of January - Cook dinner at least three times (I've been slacking ever since MS kicked in 10 weeks ago) - Give DH sexy times
My goal is to get. Into our new place and unpacked by Sunday!
That's all for now since that's going to be a huge task.
I'm with you though I would say it's unlikely I'll get everything unpacked since our kitchen took 3 days to finish and that's the only room that is clean/unpacked at this point.
And plan DD's 2nd birthday party. It's just family this year since we just moved somewhere we know no one, but my parents, brothers (with their gfs) and my Aunt and Uncle are all staying with us all weekend so I need to pull something together...

Great idea for a thread!
I teach in college and our semester begins this week. My primary goal is to not feel too overwhelmed as I get back into the swing of things with a new schedule, new students, new responsibilities, etc. I would also like to outline a couple of funding proposals due in a few months...the second trimester energy can kick in ANY TIME! Seriously I am exhausted!
Get to the gym at least 4 times this week. I haven't been in a week and a half because of traveling and I really need to get back.
Catch up on Dr letters I need to send for work. I haven't done them in a few weeks.
Meal plan. We used to do this and it saved sooo much money. I've gotten lazy and our grocery budget has practically doubled from a million trips to the store.
Get these bags of clothes to our local charity. Continue working on nursery #2. This is an issue because its DH's stuff and it looks like DS has gotten us both sick. Prepare dinner at least two nights this week. Finally, just finally, clean my bathrooms and pray the cleaner smell doesn't make me nauseous.

1. Brush my hair at least once this week 2. I should probably shower at some point 3. Return my library books that are extremely overdue 4. Get new library books 5. Fold the laundry I did over the weekend
Tell my department head I'm pregnant. (My boss and I need to start working on a plan for maternity leave as I'm the only person who does my job. We'll need to get it in place and approved ASAP so I can train who ever will be taking care of things while I'm out. HELP IM TERRIFIED.)
Fold and put away laundry, boxing up all the clothes I wont be able to wear the next 5 months and putting clothes to donate in bags and actually taking them out of the house.
Clean out the nursery closet.
@wafflesfriendswork Oh I feel your pain about your job. I am in the same boat, I am the first and only person who has ever worked in my office so everything is my way and I think I have some pretty strange ways of doing things... My boss was NOT going to hire someone at first (which was really stressing me out) and now he said he is going to) Good luck and I hope it goes well!!
1. Buy a couple more maternity outfits 2. Cook dinner 5 nights this week 3. Take our fur baby for a walk (it's been too cold these past couple weeks but he really deserves it) 4. DH and I are looking at buying our first house so my biggest goal is to have all of our homework done for our loan agent this week!
I love this! 1) go to yoga tonight 2) plan my meals for later this week (DH will be out of town again so I need easy meals to make when I get home from work) 3) print tax forms 4) borrow some scrubs from work so I don't have to buy maternity ones
I love this thread because part of me is very goal-oriented and I love to make lists and the other part of me (especially during 1st tri- so glad that is behind most of us now!), is happy to just survive the day right now!
But, back on topic, for this week: 1. Catch up on laundry. 2. Cook at least three suppers. 3. Start putting up clothes I won't be wearing for the next 7+ months. 4. Get some kind of exercise- even if it's just a walk- every day.
1) move out old fridge and move in new fridge 2) pack up keepsake items that are cluttering the basement 3) get rid of college text books that are collecting dust 4) sort through hutch and decide what goes on the next garage sale
I want to thank again whoever started this list. I've officially gotten some things done off this list. I've gotten the stuff to my local charity and mailed off the swap.com stuff . So I need to add more..
Goals for this week are:
Get these bags of clothes to our local charity. Continue working on nursery #2. This is an issue because its DH's stuff and it looks like DS has gotten us both sick. Prepare dinner at least two nights this week. Finally, just finally, clean my bathrooms and pray the cleaner smell doesn't make me nauseous adding: Laundry- I'm only down to about three loads I've already got one in the dryer and two in the washer Pack up kiddos daycare clothes for the week. Start working on the decorations for DS's 2nd Birthday Party Vacuum and dust our bedroom Dishes
I'm going to stop there, as I look around I can find about fifteen things to put on this list. But, I'm only home one day so I'm hoping I can get this little stuff knocked out before I get tired..
1. Catch up on grading 2. Clean the house and setup or guest room for company this weekend. We rearranged rooms when I got pregnant, and haven't been able to get things reorganized with the m/s. 3. Love on my DH. The nausea seems to be getting less severe and I'm hoping for some intimacy asap. I miss my hubs! 4. Not throw up this week... Can that be a goal? Just wish I had some some actual control over it!
