It is great to see you here, firstbbq, congratulations!!
I like the history of your screenname!
I hate nearly every other type of soda (not a big fan of carbonation) but ginger beer has been one of my favorite things for ages. Maine Root makes my favorite one, as it is extra gingery/spicy, but don't tell my hubby that b/c he also homebrews some.
I miss yoga, too! I used to go to hot power yoga a few times a week. I know that version of yoga will not be in the cards for long time, but I do hope to at least start doing gentle yoga regularly after the 1st trimester, too.
DX: MFI TTC April 2011 BFP #1 7/15/11, EDD 3/22/12 - CP Varicocelectomy surgery 9/4/12 - T improved to normal, but still MFI IVF #1 w/ ICSI Jan 2015 - 11R/6M/6F, ET of a 3AB expanded blast w/ none to freeze.
Pre-IVF, Moscow/Kentucky mules were my go-to. Drinking the non-alcoholic version out of the copper mug is not a bad substitute. Cold effervescence. Yum (please don't tell me I'm supposed to avoid copper for some strange reason).
Another yoga lover here! I was pretty sick during first tri, so I didn't go to yoga (or do any exercise for that matter!). But I had a great time going to yoga in second tri! I did what bostongirl617 suggests: I went to one prenatal yoga class and figured out what's good/what's bad/modifications. Then I went back to regular yoga classes and modified on my own. Now in third tri, I'm aching to go back bc I think it'll be good for me... But it's so difficult with the heartburn and bigness lol
