QOTM: Of all of the things we can't have/do while KU, you chose this thing. Why? Inquiring minds must know.
I just love sushi when it comes from one of those intimate, authentic (or, as close to authentic as you get this side of the Pacific), by-the-chef's-whim places. It's quite literally eating art. The textures and tastes can really be elevated to that level, when they're in the right hands. I should have an asterisk in my siggy, because you can find plenty of Actual Science that shows it's perfectly safe for pregnant people to have sushi (as long as it's not mercury-heavy, as with cooked fish), assuming the ingredients, storage, and prep & serving space are all up to code. But the question is, will I really find a place that has such a squeaky clean record I'd feel comfortable with that? Then again, you're way more likely to get a food-borne illness eating chicken these days, so. Who knows.

I could live on appetizers as meals. One of my favorite is a nice cheese plate in the spring summer, on the deck, with a glass of wine, some grapes & apples. Brie is one of my absolute favorites and my family has it every Christmas. It's not christmas without the brie!! I can't wait to get a nice chunk of it once this baby is here.

QOTM: I love playing ultimate frisbee. I could play until I literally drop from exhaustion (and I have). It is my absolute favorite form of exercise, and I would play every day if I could. It's not supposed to be a contact sport, but accidents happen and I've had some nasty collisions, so it's just too risky now. And it extra super duper sucks because it's just now getting warm enough here to start playing again. And I'm due in November when it will be too cold out already.

QOTM: OB said no deli meats, so DH has me sticking to it! As soon as baby comes, my first meal in hospital will be an Italian Mix sub from the local deli. Luckily deli is 10 minutes away from hospital!!

Oh, but count me out for the win! It would be nice to keep my prize though

Qotm: so chicken made me feel ill. Now I mentally still want it (like my dh has to stop me from ordering it) but when I get chicken I could not be less interested in eating it. It makes me sad. I love chicken...and now I don't. I picked the image because I wish I could eat all the chicken ala Ron Weasley. I miss Buffalo Wild Wings. Chicken masala. Buffalo Chicken Chili...can you hear my violins playing yet?
