I have another u/s today to check progress. I'm trying not to get anxious about it. But...I am in my 7th week and haven't spotted m/c'ed yet, which is a milestone for me.
I'm more active on the board during the work week than on the weekends because I'm more bored at work than I am at home.
Also, I'm currently on a conference call where I'm an active participant and I really want to run away and puke up my breakfast. My stomach hates me right now. Fuck.
I found out why dd hates sleep . She's cutting her first 5 teeth at one time ! They all have made it to the surface so hopefully sleep is in our future !
I had a great weekend DH and I went on a hot date, the first one since dd was born . ( minus the wine )?
Also as discussed on Saturday I think . My food aversions have kicked in hard core . Nothing sounds good and now coffee is gross . Is there anything else good I can drink for a little Caffeine ?

Hot chocolate?
My coffee aversion was my first pregnancy sign that I had before my BFP. I actually really dislike chocolate (yes, I'm a freak) but every day to get my hot, caffeinated drink fix, I have a cup of hot cocoa. It's got minimal caffeine in it, but it helps.
I'm currently laying back in bed because I feel pukey but I really need to get up and get myself and DS ready. I really don't want to work today. 12 hour shifts in the ER are kicking my butt right now.

We had a pretty good weekend. We helped DH's mom move a lot on Saturday and we told them the news. DH's mom cried and gave me all the feels. I also told my mom and family and it has made me feel so much better. I was going to wait but having their support really helps my anxiety about everything.
We also looked at some homes on Sunday with our Realtor and found a couple that we really liked! I'm so excited because there are homes available and I was worried that we wouldn't find anything that we liked within our price range.
Its grocery shopping day today. Trying to decide if my lazy ass wants to drive across town to the cheep store or the more expensive one 2 blocks away. Guess we will see when I get in the car.

I have my ultrasound today too! FX that we both get amazing news of our little ones.
@gothefawktosleep good luck at the U/S today. We have our first appointment today. I'm not really sure what to expect, as it is a new MW and setup compared to when we had DD. But I'm both excited and nervous. I've been having serious waves of nausea. Last night I was curled up for awhile not wanting to move for fear of throwing up. We both have the day off, we are going to soend the day with my parents and probably go out and about after our appointment.
Good luck with your US today ladies! Good weekend worked Saturday but at least I got today off home with DS who is currently in the tub, DH had to work but we might have lunch together. So pumped that the Patriots won the AFC championship game and are heading to the super bowl in two weeks!!!!
Good luck to everyone with appointments and ultrasounds! Just another work day here. My late lesson on Monday usually finishes around 7,, but she is out of town this week. So I will be done at the respectable hour of 5. Hubs works late tonight and eats as part of work. so with no dinner to make I plan to spend some quality time with my feet up on the couch later.
Good luck at the ultrasounds @gothefawktosleep and sandj918!
Jelly of everyone with the day off. My office is dead. I also left my wallet at home and I have a punch card inside that would have gotten me a free coffee this morning, which despite 10 hours of sleep, I really, really wanted. I'm debating between closing my door and getting a bunch of work done, because I have a major deadline in about 6 weeks and I'm a little behind, or saying fuck it and PWing all day to get my member status.
I.am.so.bored. This potty training business has kept me in the house for three days already. Even if I wanted to venture out today, I'm to scared because of the ice storm that hit my state yesterday. Roads are still pretty bad, so in that sense I'm glad I don't have to get to work today. I feel ok today, but I think the extent of helping today will be cleaning the kitchen, finishing DS's laundry and dinner, as well as prep work for the week. There is so much crap that has to be done around here, but boredom begets laziness. Oh well.
Good morning ladies, I hope everyone had a great weekend and GL to anyone with appointments and/or ultrasounds!
Typical Monday morning for me except my nausea kicked into high gear this weekend. My poor wife has been so wonderful is making suggestions for things I can eat to make sure I am nourished, but her suggestions are now the point of making me gag. Currently, my diet consists of coconut water (regular water isn't agreeing with me at all), ginger ale, graham crackers, apples, peanut butter toast, pickle chips and war wonton soup.
We would have been doing this too if my parents weren't visiting. I really want to go to a movie, I don't even care what I see.

That's exactly what we are doing. We get to go to the movie theater like 3 times a year these days!
Before dd was born we went to see all the movies we possibly could. We knew that it was going to be awhile before we went to them again. Three a year is about where we are too. Have fun! Sent from my SM-G900P using proboards

@gothefawktosleep & sandj918 good luck with that ultrasound! dorkymama, feel better!
H & I both have off but I am abandoning him to go get Mexican with some friends from work (we never get a chance to eat together!).
In other news, I got my second round of bloodwork back and it went from 620 to 1220 in just under 48 hrs (like 47 hrs and 50 minutes). Is this good? She's having me get another round done on Wednesday (120 hrs after the 2nd draw) and if that goes okay (my PgAL brain is freaking out!) then I'll get an ultrasound some time in the next 2 weeks.

Good luck with your ultrasounds @gothefawktosleep and sandj918!!
MrsEmuTavi those are awesome numbers - FX they just get better and better!!!
I had mostly a good weekend, but my husband is sick again. He was sick for like a month, started getting better and then yesterday it hit him again. And I'm going to sound like a horrible wife, but it makes me so angry when he's sick. He blows his nose like every 20 seconds, and when he blows his nose it literally sounds like an air horn and it makes me want to punch things. He also grabs three pieces of kleenex, blows once into them then throws them away. I don't know why it makes me so mad, but it's just so wasteful! He's also a man baby and I just can't handle it right now. He said he was going to call in sick today, but thankfully he's doing his last two months at trade school right now and if they miss more than a very small amount of hours they get kicked out. So he can't call in sick which made me happy dance because then I wouldn't have to listen to his air horn all day long. I'm ashamed of myself even typing this out.
andtheheartbreakers - I hate when my husband is sick, too, and also mainly because he does gross things and turns into a man-baby. He doesn't really blow his nose much because he swears it doesn't do anything (and then he mopes about it incessantly, like a toddler); instead, he hocks loogies into tissues all. the. time. It makes me dry heave every time. This is an upgrade though, believe it or not -- he used to spit phlegm into empty bottles when sick while we were in college. I shit you not.

That almost has me gagging. Man-colds are the worst.
