I'm currently not speaking to A because he made me mad. Grayson is already passed out. I'm going to lounge on the couch, crochet, and watch Sister Wives and then Revenge. A better leave me alone tonight.
We went to Kohls today. What a bank account drain that can be! Got $96 worth of clothes for DD for $12 thanks to clearance racks. I can't believe they charge $12 for a pair of Jumping Beans leggings. #ripoff
Team leggings for life here...skinny mini DD is all legs and no booty. It'll be awhile before she can hold up a pair of real denim.

I love the jumping beans clothes but i e never paid full price! They seem to always be on sale for $5 or $6. You had great luck at the clearance rack!
I forgot to tell y'all how yesterday morning I went into DD's room to wake her up and found that 1) she had been on the floor sometime in the night (she has a twin bed on the floor but rarely falls off) and 2) she'd had another bloody nose while on the floor. It looked like a little baby crime scene with all the blood on the carpet and bedding, not to mention all dry and crusted blood on her face and hands! And she never cried at all in the night, as far as we heard. Thank god for hydrogen peroxide and the stain master cycle on the washing machine.
The kicker about clothes for DD is that my MIL always buys stuff for DD but forgets she's so skinny, so the clothes she buys are frequently for more chunky babies of DD's age. At Christmas she went to great lengths to take in a pair of corduroy pants too big for DD in the waist that she paid under $5 for (also Kohls clearance). Not worth the time...they're still huge on her.

My kiddo is exactly the same. I've found Jordache skinny jeans from Walmart fit really really well! And they're super cute. Jeans are my go to in winter since it's so cold here in NY. I also love Doodle Pants too ,they're warm and adorable

Its been a great day. I went to deb to get jeans before they close down for good, found a beautiful black lace shirt for Maurice's, fil brought me a large kings cake from la that I plan to devour like a fat kid, and finally getting the hang of the new pie shop here.

I have never shopped at Kohls before - but after discovering that my absolute favorite shirt of LO's (which I bought at Goodwill) was Jumping Bean - I have discovered that I really have to! I love the fit!
I hate being sick. I'm grumpy and emotional. I've just wanted to cry all day. And I kind of hate my DH for no reason tonight and he's been very nice and helpful. But I'm upstairs and he's downstairs so I can have some space from him.
Best story of the day: watching O try and pinch, scratch, hit, and bite off my SIL's back tattoo. Lack of exposure on our part I guess because we don't have any. He was fascinated by it!
I did have to apologize about the biting to her, but I could see why he would want to try anything to get it of of her. He was helping!

I'm watching DH pick up the toys from the living room. Maybe I'll have him fold the laundry. Then prep tomorrow's dinner. J is asleep after a day of whining. And i finally showered and washed my hair.
My neighbor just came over with a half pan of homemade lasagna!!!! It's INSANE!! Now I'm sitting here with a half pan on my lap and both mh and I are devouring it!

Hi B's!!!!! I fear change, so I wasn't sure if I was going to join you here, but I fell down the rabbit hole. Been a crazy week, but I'm excited to see you all again.

I need a neighbor like that.
I have 2 neighbors with young children that are so awesome! We have wine nights and whenever one of us makes a large amount of food we share!

So the one night we try and put LO down *before* our dinner because he was giving us all kinds of sleepy signs ... he takes 2+ hours to actually go to sleep.
DH came to relieve me around 2 hours, and finally got him to sleep by walking him around the house for 20-30 minutes.
Crazy kid.
Potty training is kind of killing us here. He keeps telling me, "pee pee! pee pee!". And I don't want to deter him, *and* he actually pees, so I don't know how to deal with that. I tried telling him he could just pee in his diaper, but I've given up on that tactic, because I don't want to encourage that. *shrugs*
He's asleep now, that's what counts. And I have a glass of wine and am about to get another bowl of thin mint/samoas ice cream.

I've been home alone for almost 2 hours! This is glorious, I am going to have to make this a monthly occurrence. I ate, cleaned a little, watched some dvr'd episodes and played PAC man. Best Sunday evening I've had in a long time. Off to eat a cupcake in peace.

Tax time always is an argument in this house every year...I want to take what we get back and do 3 things 1) put it towards something we NEED for the house such as front landscaping since we tore down a big tree, 2) put some in A's savings, some in ours and pay a few bills, 3) give us each $200 to buy whatever we want. SH wants to build a patio cover that we DONT need...men! This is exactly why I don't let him see how much we have in savings or who knows what all crap he would buy.
