Did FaceTime with my parents tonight. They are always so impressed with anything that A does its funny. She enjoyed running up to the phone to give them kisses and then run off and they loved it. Sometimes it makes me sad that we don't live closer to family.
Oh my gosh... I went to a barre class this morning which was a super intense workout but I felt great after! All of a sudden I am so sore!!! I better have a dancer body in the morning!
I feel like I got hit by a truck. Could it be from lifting the 27lb toddler waaaay more than usual all weekend, hauling around an increasingly heavy car seat, carrying the snugabunny swing to the basement so ILs could attempt to soothe a witching hour M while I attempted to get B to go to sleep and then tidy up for our first cleaning lady visit, or the onset of mastitis from not paying adequate attention to my fullness and M sleeping a lot more than usual. I don't have a fever, but my boob really, really hurts. Once I decided to pump instead of wake up M (because we were going out to eat), I got 5oz in ~8 mins on just that side. It usually takes me 15 mins to get 2-4oz per side.
/ramble. DH should be home soon, and lord help him if he even mentions that I didn't fold laundry
I'm glad you were able to do something to make you both feel better, pitchslap.

A went into a corner and started pooping when we were face timing with my parents and I've been working with her to say "poo poo" so that in a few months when we start potty training she understands and can say it. My mom preceded to tell me that we should have already started potty training...lady please...not ready for that process yet
My kiddo is exactly the same. I've found Jordache skinny jeans from Walmart fit really really well! And they're super cute. Jeans are my go to in winter since it's so cold here in NY. I also love Doodle Pants too ,they're warm and adorable
Youre in NY?? Did we know this? Are you in the NYC area?
I am in NY but I'm upstate. Near Albany. I might have mentioned it before, not sure though!
I would love the kind of snow the NE is getting (ducks)...it's gonna be in the mid 60s here for the next few days!
Lol, that's how I'm feeling too! Send it over here! We are fully equipped for it and would way rather have snow than the melty shit we have going on right now!
Just got Gia back down after her latest wakeup. She woke up pissed because she couldn't fit both binks in her mouth at the same time! She got half of each in and was crying over it when I walked in. I actually contemplated going for my camera. *L* Now I'm off to bed myself and hope she sleeps!
mcbush the class was soooooooo expensive!!!! I got a first time special price so it wasn't bad ($10) but normally it's $20! If you buy a package it's $15 a class but you have a full year to use them. I haven't decided what to do! It was such a great workout and the most I would go would be 2x a month so not terrible. I never was a dancer so I look like a clumsy fool in the class but we all start somewhere right?! Did you dance before taking the class?
My poor girl is still not feeling well. Coughing, sneezing and spitting up here and there. Thankfully no fever and plenty of wet diapers. We've been up since 3 and she is sleepy but waking every few minutes.
Poor baby! She is too young to be sickie! On your first day alone too. ?
I'm headed to work. Too many meetings and other important stuff to miss. It felt good to get up and shower but it wore me out! I hope I can make it through the day. I plan to leave as soon as I can and go to bed early tonight.
How are your nights going hellooldfriend? Also limabeanmom started a 2U2 check in that you should join
I still have a super sleepy newborn. I wake him to feed him, but let him go 4 hours overnight. Hopefully at his one week appointment we get the clear to let him sleep as long as he wants.
SAHMs: Did YH/SO help with MOTN wake ups when they went back to work? H has been getting up for diaper changes (we're down to one most nights) and I feel like an ass for making him get up.
I'm not a SAHM, but we had a time agreement. If she woke up after 5am, he would take care of it, before that it was me.

H is a night owl se any wake ups before 2 or 3 am he helped with and after that I let him sleep that way he got about 4 consecutive hours before work. However he works at home so no commute and set hours allowed us some flexibility.

Daycare drop off was rough this morning. I hope tomorrow is easier because I just wanted to scoop her back up, go home and cuddle and play all day. It's making it harder for me knowing that Monday I'll drop her off and won't see her for a week..
