QOTD 3/11

I crochet. I learned as a child but hadn't done it in years, I started again when I was pregnant with DD and have gone a little crazy. I recently went through and cleaned out my stash and made myself finish projects, so now I am down to only three: A baby blanket for an expecting friend, a shrug and a skirt for myself.
In the last month or so I made a summer dress for DD, a headband for my niece, a purse for DD, a wool soaker for DD, a baby blanket for another friend, and a small blanket for DD.

I used to do a lot more before kids. Made my own xmas cards, scrapbooked, painted, did my own photography. Now I do toddler crafts DS always asks if he can do "art projects". He loves painting. We also do seasonal crafts with tissue paper to hang in our windows. I wish I knew how to knit

I do not craft at all. I will do craft projects with DD for specific things but I so not really have an ongoing hobby.
I would like to learn how to crochet so that when DD is having her own baby ( what?!?! That's just crazy talk) or when my neices are, they will recieve blankets. I think a lot of people my age aren't learning how and that's sad because they are so nice. I don't even want to learn anything fancy my favorite pattern has always been the V's ( I guess it's kind of chevron like? Idk) my step mother in law knows hor but we aren't close. Where else can you learn?

I'm not even remotely creative enough to craft. My grandmother taught me to knit - I've since forgotten. She also taught me how to embroider, and I found that relaxing, but could never figure out what to do with the finished products. They're not the kind of thing I would normally put on the wall, so just doing embroidery projects for the sake of keeping my hands busy seemed like a waste. I do enjoy the final products of others though - my SIL scrapbooks and put together an awesome book of pictures for DS.

I learned how to knit slippers from my grandma years ago. My sister still remembers but I don't. I can knit using a loom.

I have a sewing machine in the box unopened still.

I'm a wannabe crafter. I find things that I love and try to figure a way to make them myself. No specific hobbies though!
I'm currently constructing a mobile for the new nursery.

I crochet a little here and there. I can sew, but I'm very novice at it, mostly throw pillows for the kids, though I have done a few more complicated projects. I probably would craft more if it weren't so expensive and time-consuming because I do enjoy it.

Nope. Closest to crafting I've come is a few DIY items for my wedding.

Well, I have all the stuff for scrapbooking but it's probably been at least 4 years since I've done anything. I think the one I made for my dad was the only one I actually finished though. My goal is to finish two books that I've started and then sell the rest in a yard sale this summer. From then on, I'm just going to do a photo book. I suppose since it's spring I should get on that.

I can do basic knitting and crochet, sewing, and that's about it. I enjoy it but just can't devote enough time to it, also I struggle to stick with one thing long enough to finish a project.

Not crafty here. I tried knitting. I want to go back and learn to kinit and crochet. I can sew. I can cut a pattern and sew. Zippers and buttons holes, too. I can sew a simple bag without a pattern. No time to really sew.

I did a lot of arts and crafts when I was younger but these days I really just don't feel like it. I'm sure I'll start doing a lot of it when dd gets a little older which is exciting.

I have become more crafty since having DS...I still have a lot of Pinterest fails though.

I like arts and crafts. I paint, refurnished furniture, do basic sewing. I learned a lot of crafts growing up but haven't done them in a while. (Knitting, cross stitch)
